Experience the beauty of Kambuwal Country on the Granite Belt at our stunning 170 acre vegetable farm. Formerly known as "Mt Stirling Olives," our property now offers luxury farm stay accommodation and off-grid camping for up to 5 fully self-contained vans (power, water, sewerage, rubbish). Our camp sites are situated on the shores of our picturesque dam, providing a serene and tranquil setting for those seeking a peaceful escape. Located in close proximity to Stanthorpe, Ballandean and Tenterfield, our property is nestled amongst local wineries and produce, as well as the stunning walks of Girraween National Park and Sundown. Guests are welcome to explore our uncultivated lower paddocks, granite outcrops and natural bushland. In addition, you can now access the peak of Mount Stirling, which has only recently been opened to the public after more than half a century, allowing you to hike and relish the stunning sunsets. If you prefer a more relaxing experience, take in the scenic views from our dam-side firepits with a glass of the Granite Belt's finest. Upon booking, we'll provide you with an access code to our gate off Thorndale Road (Gate 1). There is plenty of room to park off the road at the entrance, and we're almost always available onsite at the main homestead on Collins Road to assist with any queries or provide special recommendations only a local would know.

This campsite offers a picturesque setting with beautiful views, especially around the dam. It is an ideal location for wine lovers due to its proximity to local wineries. Ben, the host, is frequently praised for his hospitality and guidance. However, some visitors noted that the terrain can be uneven, and amenities are limited, requiring campers to be self-sufficient.

Pleasant camping area. Stayed at site 2 (best size and shade of the four) - whole area is an open paddock with sites around the edge but plenty of room. Is located between Stanthorpe and Ballendeen. Good base for exploring the local area where there is lots to see and do.

Really lovely space for 5 vans. Must be self sufficient and take everything with you. Would stay here again if staying in Stanthorpe. Ben was very prompt with messages. Highly recommend.

We initially planned to stay 2 nights and ended up extending another night! Ben was a lovely host and checked on us. We had the whole place to ourselves which was perfect and our Lab absolutely loved swimming in the dam. Sitting around the fire at the dam into the night with all the stars - perfection.
