Flaggy creek camp 1
We absolutely loved our four days at Flaggy Creek! We camped on Site 1 and enjoyed very much looking down to the beautiful creek from our camp. We saw platypus in the creek each day we were there and the variety of birds was truly amazing!
Shelley our wonderful host was so kind and helpful and we loved having a chat with her.
A visit from the farm animals was pretty special too...
Communication was prompt and friendly and directions were easy to follow to this quiet little gem of a place. We have already booked our next camping trip back here!
Thanks so much Shelley (we might meet Tim next time)
See you again soon 😊

Serenity at it’s best
We spent 3 nights at Flaggy Creek camp 2 & absolutely loved it! Tim was a very welcoming host. Even his dog Juno came to greet us! Our spot was along the creek with a great area set up for a camp fire & we purchased some wood from Tim.
The whole property is beautiful with plentiful bird life & if you are lucky you may even spot the platypus in the creek. We enjoyed exploring the property with various walking tracks. Also enjoyed a great hike to The Bluff where the views were amazing!
We will definitely be back & highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to relax & recharge.

Flaggy creek camp 2
Camp 2 at Flaggy Creek is a truly great campsite. Level, shaded or sunny (your choice), creek water available from a nearby gravity-fed tap, and a fire pit. Tim supplied us with a huge crate of split hardwood for $20. And we saw a tree kangaroo right next to the campsite! It's well off the road but still close to Herberton and we used it as a base for 5 nights to explore the region. Highly recommended.
