Deep Dime is a 400 acre cattle, fodder and irrigated grain farm. Our primary crop is Lucerne for hay. Creekside Camp (our main camping area) is relatively flat, well drained sites along a creek that usually runs. This area offers multiple composting toilets and wood powered hot water bush shower and outdoor bath. There is also a large permanent deep waterhole a short distance from this camping area. We have temporarily paused out Hill camp sites, due to continuing property maintenance and improvements. The Hilltop on our place is a lovely spot to watch the sunset with a glass of your favorite beverage, and even if you are camped at Creekside, you are welcome to walk or drive up to hilltop. Just remember we are a working property, so leave gates as you find them. Our property is an easy drive from wineries, large dams, Bunya Mountains, art galleries, state forests, mountain bike tracks, and scenic Kingaroy. We are dog friendly as long as dogs are not aggressive and well controlled. This is our main camping area with toilet and shower adjacent to the creek. The site is well drained and relatively flat with good access for vans and RVs. The creek has been running well and adjacent to the camp-site it is shallow and sandy. Great to sit a chair in and cool your heels. There is also a large deep waterhole 200m from the camping area for swimming. This area is secluded and tranquil with plenty of birdlife to be seen in the trees along the creek. Fires are allowed in designated area or in 'off ground' braziers or fire rings.

Creekside
Camp-site was set in a beautiful area and amenities were rustic but fun, especially the outdoor showers. Problem was the electric fence that you had to navigate to gain access to the area. No warning and no indication if it was 'live' or not. Could not access the creek unless you were brave enough to cross the 9vlt fence! Not a spot for families.

Great Spot
This is the first time camping here, we had the best time. So quiet and peaceful. Amenities are of the very rustic version and that's ok as well. We liked this spot so much, we're booked in again to stay soon.

Creekside
This is our third time staying at Deep Dime and this time we brought the whole family to celebrate a family members 70th birthday. The recent rain has helped the creek be a beautiful spot for the kids to paddle. Amenities are always kept clean and tidy and the grounds are well kept.

Weekend Getaway!
No frills camping at its best!! Camping Creekside At Deep Dime was lovely. Plenty of birdlife to listen to. Took a stroll along the cow pad by the creek and was able to cool off in the shallows. Access down to the creek is in numerous locations along the camp area, as well as a short walk back up the road to a seating area and tree swing seat. There is also a ladder in the water here for those who choose to take a dip! Only 4 others camped out here during our weekend away so plenty of room between camps. Love the shower and toilet set-up - with the hot showers, bath and 1 composting toilet central on the camp site and another toilet at each end of camp. Hubby through a line in at the deep end of the creek just because he could! 🎣 Will definitely become one of our go-to weekends away (longer if we can). We are tent campers, but area is definitely easily assessable to a variety of vehicles. We will definitely be back. Thank you Rachael and Darren for sharing this little piece of your paradise.
