Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.

It’s a beautiful little quiet nook, with a rock bottom stream. It’s 15 minutes from Lehigh Valley international Airport, and 15 minutes from blue Mountain resort. There are also covered bridges, drive-in movie theaters, family diners, and restaurants within close proximity. Jim Thorpe and the Poconos are not much further north.This site is a retired shale pit. It’s basically a parking lot cut into the hillside directly off of the road. There’s room for four cars or an RV. It is currently a dry site. It is conveniently located 15 minutes north of the Lehigh Valley international Airport right off of 248. Directly across the road, there is a picturesque rock bottom stream, a picnic table, a campfire site and a mini observation/camp platform. There are many nice places for food nearby. We have the Point Phillips hotel, the Blue Mountain drive-in family restaurant, the Blue Mountain resort has several nice restaurants. The Bath diner is good. We also have drive-in movie theaters, covered bridges nearby and access points to the Appalachian Trail. There is no rock climbing allowed on the property, please and thank you.
