Nestled into the foothills of the Catskill Mountains, this 2.5 acre property features two ponds, rolling hills and lots of hiking in the vicinity. The tent faces a beautiful pond and and waking up to dappled morning sun, laying in the hammock under the shade of the trees and sitting by the fire at the shore at night, makes for a perfect lazy day in nature. The tent is furnished with a queen bed and plenty of pillows thrown about for leisure and there are toiletries and dishes available to grill and cook coffee. A solar shower and composting toilet are provided.Nestled in the foothills of the Catskill Mountains, the site offers one canvas tent sleeping 3 people max and for a fee, a second tent can be set up, however, we like to keep the max amount of people to 5. The camp site is secluded, but there are neighbors in walking distance, though not majorly visible. There is a solo stove to make a fire and for grilling your food, as well as a propane grill. The solar shower is fed by rain water and by a spring. We are trying to keep the footprint as small as possible here, so please make sure to take anything back with you, that you brought in. We do not provide garbage removal. Great hiking spots are as close as 10 minutes car ride and we provide a booklet with stores, activities and hikes.
