Yarrawin is 680 acre cattle farm and hardwood timber plantation in the heart of the Nambucca Valley, offering scenic, secluded , private campsites with their own swimming hole and a river gravel beach on 3km of beautiful double river frontage. Camping options include river side camps, the Shack and riverside camp and a large secluded valley. Each campsite is separate from the others, giving guests privacy and exclusive use of the swimming hole (except Chinamans Valley) at their site. All riverside sites offer a natural gravel beach entry into the water. There are no amenities here, campers will need to be self contained and leave no trace. Every site has a fire pit which must be used for campfires. If you want to use your own it must be off the ground. Free firewood and fire pit set up for the first night, IF YOU STAY TWO NIGHTS. Firewood $20/ night after that (CASH ONLY PLEASE), except when camping at Chinamans Valley where you collect your own free firewood for each night. Beautiful drinking rain water is available in a 20lt Jerry can if required on arrival. Bird lovers can enjoy watching the various bird varieties, as well as ducks. Animals include wallabies, goannas, deer and fish as well as cattle and stock horses. Fishing is okay but it is STRICTLY catch and release ONLY. There are many places to go bushwalking, either following the river or heading up the valleys or hiking up the hills through the trees. The property is just 10kms from the convenience of Bowraville, a historic township with a supermarket, folk museum, a war museum, a historic theatre, and other historic buildings. Nambucca Heads and the beautiful surrounding beaches are just 27kms east and Coffs Harbour 80kms away. Please note this is a working farm, so there will be cattle and stock horses on the property that may approach your campsite.

First Crossing Swimming Hole
Stunning picture perfect property
Stunning property with picture perfect camp sites. Ian and Bobbie were extremely welcoming with home made brownies on arrival. Ian showed us down to our campsite and explained a few things about the property. We were greeted by a pre built fire and plenty of free firewood with additional wood only $20 per night if needed. Our campsite was nice and level perfect to set the van up on right beside the river. We were even visited by some very friendly and inquisitive cows and horses on our second day. We explored the property through the many river crossings to the other campsites, which were all picturesque. Only 15 minutes from the small local town and 30 minutes to the beach. Will 100% be back here in summer to enjoy swimming in the river. 10/10 for this property and the amazing hospitality from Ian and Bobbie!

Top Flat Swimming Hole
2nd time here was a great overnight camp again. Wood provided the first night makes it easy when you arrive. Would highly recommend staying if your in the area.

Camping with animals
Absolutely stunning Hipcamp could not recommend more ! The views and scenery were insanely beautiful. Bobbie and Ian were amazing , Bobbie’s brownies are to die for ! The animals free roam on the property which is so cool to look over and just see a horse or cow walk past the camp , we were lucky enough to be able to feed the horses and Ian was amazing and took me over to pet one of the cows (Rosie ) All in all it was a 10/10 camp and we will be returning with our friends and family 😀

THE Swimming Hole
Lovely place to stay camping among the cows! Great hosts. Look forward to coming back with the kids in the warmer months.

What a great spot, friendly and welcoming hosts ( home cooked brownies on arrival) a fire pit set with wood and ready to go a great camp site right on a perfect swimming hole ( although a little to cold this time) plenty of room for the dogs to run around as long they are okay with the cattle and very curios horses that pass by quite regularly, we will definitely be returning to this very welcoming Hipcamp

Middle Swimming Hole
Well where do I start. First the hosts Ian and Bobbie were excellent. They came down each day to our own private creek camping spot to see if we needed anything and to deliver us our daily supply of firewood. Very nice owners of this beautiful property. Also loved to have a chat with our family telling us there the other camp sites were on there property and walking tracks to take and also where there lovely horses were for us to give a few carrots and apples too. Very private camping with beautiful views of there huge property. All I can say is green green green. The land they own is stunning. My young Son had a time of his life swimming in the nice shallow running creek. Had plenty of walks around there property and had fun walking across a few water crossings. This is the best place to just sit back and relax. Will definitely be back and I will be letting all my camping friends know about this magical place.
