Ruby Rest is a working horse stud and farm supply store. We are technically in NSW with our boundary fence being the QLD border. The property is located just 5 mins from the town of Stanthorpe known for its chilly temperatures, apple orchards and wineries. We are a family owned and run operation and are happy to share our little piece of granite belt beauty with happy campers. There is just the one toilet and two showers so patience and consideration is required, especially on busy weekends.

Awesome Spot
Beautiful property. Very peaceful, and close to Stanthorpe. We stayed past the Red Shed, up on the hill in between the 2 dams. We are fully self contained and had to be as there are no amenities anywhere near this camp spot. We were the only campers in this part if the property. We had a magnificent stay.

Exactly what we were looking for. Shower and toilets were top notch and the hosts very accomodating. Lots of space. All around. Great for the fig as well. Thank you

Had a great weekend away with the family, was easy to find great camping spots! Bald rock hike was just around the corner which was awesome for us to do. They camps sites were spread out so you definitely left like it was just you guys there. Toilets and showers were awesome! Would definitely come again!!

A rare gem!
Absolutely stunning place to stay. Its not often that you can take the doggos camping an they can remain completely offleash, which ours did for the entire 4 days. They loved it and we loved it. The site is central to town yet private and cosy. We will absolutely be back! Thanks for a great long weekend.

Lovely property lots of flat ground
Beautiful big property with lots of flat ground and dams. Saw different wildlife. Amenities were nice but a drive away (I’m pretty sure the ad says that though), so midnight wees are challenging but expected on a large property. Helpful guests. It was hard to find at night so recommend arriving at day time (our fault). And the entrance is off the street not up their driveway (don’t think the ad mentions that). Hope that helps, but do recommend it.
