    Just thirty minutes from the Pacific Highway, Macleay River Camp is set on a kilometre of riverfront perfect for swimming, fishing, canoeing or just relaxing in peace and quiet. Access is for 4WD vans and campers only, vans over twenty feet won't get through the track in. There is a big weather shed with a sink, BBQ, pizza oven, bush pool table and dart board. Basic toilet facilities are provided. Dog friendly. Firewood is available to purchase. There's a generator available for use to light up the shed, bring your own Premium Unleaded fuel [at top of high bank, follow the lead from near the pizza oven]. Please consider that this property is a PRIVATE PROPERTY and all access to the site is to be with permission at an agreed time by the owners.

    The site was a lovely secluded area with great views and activities to do. The pizza oven worked a dream. Tom was an excellent host, along with Theo the dog. I would highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back some time.

    Beautiful spot by the creek. Bit weedy but that didnt matter to us. Great spot. Would definitely go back.

    Wow what a gorgeous spot. My family stayed here for the weekend and it was peaceful. Tom and Mary-Anne are great hosts . Friendly and we felt very welcome. We will definitely be back

    Great off the grid river camping
    The Lower Flat 4WD Access
    Great off the grid farm camping above the river! Lots of space to camp and not be on top of each other. Easy walk down to the river for a swim or just to relax, and the water was not as cold as expected! Very nice common area with a pizza oven that had to be tested and it works like a charm! Host Tom was very nice and came down to check on the area. Hope to be back some day.

    Off the grid and by the river, It doesn’t get any better! Tom was very welcoming and although we had a big storm on one of the night we felt very safe! Awesome fishing and swimming and best of its pet friendly! Vico, Jess and Kita
