Nice!

A very nice place and the owner is very friendly. The house with the toilet is at the top of the hill and we were simply allowed to choose a spot in the meadow.

We had a lovely weekend at Karen's. We hitred the room and an area to setup our caravan. Karen was lovely to deal with and made sure we had everything we needed.

A very disappo Hip Camp
22 ft travel trailer ·
On arrival. we had to back up, from the narrow entrance, onto the main road, and enter via the wider closed gate. Even though we only have a 17', single axle, Millard caravan. Then we had to maneuver around many potholes, on the track up to meet the host; We asked Karen, where were the camping sites? She pointed back down the hill. But I replied, "there are no trees. so no shade. There was a very uncomfortable ambiance to the property, no views, some weedy ponds and some horses. So we immediately turned around and left. This was hugely inconvenient, as it was coming on dark, with a storm on the way. I tried to send Karen a complaint text, asking for a refund, as Hip Camp policy says that is the first step, That was unsuccessful, as was trying to contact Hip Camp , due to poor internet and probably the storm. We wanted to tell the company it was the worst Hip Camp we had ever visited.

After 4 months on the road, this was one of our favourite places. The scenery is absolutely stunning and the horses are a lot of fun and super friendly. Great toilet and shower plus a massive kitchen and playroom area as well. Can’t fault this place at all.

Karen is too good. Almost didn't want to leave a review to keep this spot hidden. Everything was perfect.
