Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
Stuart Town was originally named Ironbark in relation to Banjo Patterson’s, The Man from Ironbark. Fairview Farm sits on 20 Acres in Stuart Town and provides beautiful sunsets and sunrises. Nearby is Burrendong Dam / Mookerawa Waters for fishing, boating, paddling and swimming. We are also surrounded by rolling hills. It's a very peaceful, tranquil setting. Lots of birdlife, grass parrots, king parrots, blue wrens, willie wagtails, and eastern rosellas just to mention a few. We have a collection of farm animals, sheep, alpacas, goats, chickens and two resident Boredoodles. Feeding of animals is allowed as well, for the enjoyment of kids. Walking and bike riding (pushbikes only) within the farm is allowed. There is a local Pub in town a short drive or bike ride, they serve pizzas every day and meals on specific day/nights will need to check! All campers must be self-contained, with their own camp toilet. We look forward to welcoming you to Fairview Farm!Fairview Farm provides beautiful sunsets and sunrises while listening to the sound of wildlife, many bird species around and farm animals to pet and feed. The view of rolling hills, with peace and tranquillity. Come through the front farm gate, and select a spot of choice in the paddock in front of house houseyard. You may need to stop and get out, have a walk around see where best suits you to set up! Some parts are flatter than others. Although the camping area is not too far from the main residence, we will respect your privacy, and also keep to ourselves. Feel free to chat if we are around. All campers must be self-contained with their own camp toilet.

Great farm camping spot!
We had the most amazing time at Fairview Farm. The friendly farm dogs greeted us with excitement on arrival and the sheep and goats also wandered up to the fence to see what was going on. Our hosts, Louise and Jim, were lovely, sharing their knowledge of the farm animals and local area and even let us feed the hungry sheep and goats. Farm fresh eggs and hand made soaps are also available and we were able to collect some firewood for a great camp fire to keep us warm well into the evening. The captivating views and surprising array of farm animals both here and on neighbouring properties make this a great place to visit. A couple of sheep were almost ready lamb so maybe they’ll be some new baby lambs to see on your visit.

Camping with fam
Great place to base yourself for a few days and travel around the mid west. Warm hosts who welcome feed times with the farm animals that both children and grown ups will love. Provide fire pits and free wood, just bring a chainsaw. Highly recommended.
