FULLY BOOKED *XMAS 2024* 27/12/2024 to 2/1/2025 CLOSED AUSTRALIA DAY W/END Beautiful property, nestled into the Colo Valley, next to the pristine Colo River. We have cleared grassy paddocks, some shady areas, and access to the Colo River, one of the most pristine rivers in NSW. Our river access is normally shallow, well suited to young families or those who just want to lay back and enjoy a quiet refreshing dip. Amazing sunrises, sunsets, and star gazing are provided free of charge along with bird watching, local wildlife, and horses in surrounding paddocks. We offer limited sites to comply with NSW Camping legislation and Hipcamp guidelines and to enable campers to experience the Colo as it should be, listening to the beautiful wildlife and really appreciating the outdoors. Sites are large spaces with varying distance between sites to enable you to enjoy the camping experience in your own space. Both paddock sites and limited river spots are available. If you are planning to stay with friends and you wish to share a site only 1 booking is required, the sites are large, some up to 30m x 30m. (Saturday night 2 night minimum) Pets are allowed on a case-by-case basis, please check with Hosts prior to booking, as conditions and a charge applies. Please ADD EXTRA at checkout for dogs... $20 per dog per visit There is no mobile reception or internet access, therefore, providing a true off-grid retreat. Self-sufficient campers are preferred. There are fire drums available on each site, most with grill plates - subject to RFS bush fire danger ratings on the day. There are three communal flushing toilets and two awesome hot water showers! ALL waste is to leave with you! There are local bush walks through National Parks and great places for mountain bike riding although be mindful of holiday traffic in peak times on our local dirt roads. The local shop, Colo Riverside is open 4 days a week Thurs-Sun, just 10kms up the road providing last-minute supplies, ice, bottle shop, and cafe services. Please note: Due to our location bookings may be canceled at short notice in times of bad weather due to flooding, limited access, fire or flood warnings. We trust you will understand we are only looking out for your safety and of course, Hipcamp credits will be arranged.

Excellent campsite and location
The experience starts with the road along the river to the campsite: Fantastic scenery and you know you’re heading somewhere good. Comms from Yara were excellent and she met us at the site, gave us info about the area and river and was very welcoming. There site was very spacious and the way the sites step down towards the river gives an even greater feeling of space. The amenities were good. There was only the two of us but it’s well suited to groups too. Having the river so close was great. We brought are own kayak but they could be rented and you can be dropped off and picked up for an easy paddle downstream. The place had a nice vibe in general and was spacious and scenic. I’d very much recommend it.

Disconnected by the river
The sites are very generous and with easy access in and out with your vehicle. Toilets are well maintained and Yara is always ready to help with making the experience as good as possible. And having no signal is always a plus!

Superb communications with the owner Yara. I asked many questions to Yara at various occasions and she always answered quiet promptly and tried to accommodate all our wants and needs. Well maintained and spacious campsites so you have personal spaces and privacy. Very clean river. Shallow water hence excellent for young kids water play. We used the kayaks available at the site and it was fun. Filtered water available and hot shower also which were great. Firepit available at each camp site. It was great to have BBQ and camp fire. Many thanks to Yara for her friendly and very organised hospitality.

I had a lovely time tent camping at DeView! Yara was a great host, extremely accommodating and she sent through very clear directions. The site itself was secluded, peaceful and only a short walk to the river. Highly recommend and I'm looking forward to coming back one day :)
