Beautiful secluded place, but take
Really beautiful and secluded spot. We enjoyed ourselves. However, note that the description isn't super accurate. We saw no fire ring or safe way to have a campfire. Campers have access to a toilet and water but it's extremely inconvenient - far away and not really accessible. We ended up bringing water in and doing a bit more rugged camping for the other need. Still, a lovely place

Camp Hart Cottage
The cottage at Camp Hart was the ideal location for our family gathering over Labor Day weekend. The large deck and living room provided good space for the six of us to visit, and the kitchen was well stocked. Each couple had their own room. We enjoyed afternoons at the nearby museums—Mass MoCA and the Clark Art Institute. Williamstown and North Adams also have many great places to eat. We also appreciated the fenced area for our dogs, although the grass inside the fence was taller than the mini-dachshunds.

Nice, peaceful place for tent camp
We had a very nice short visit to Elaine’s property, which includes two different lots on either side of a road. The side we were on includes several large fields near a farmhouse (the farmhouse not part of the rental). I believe the cottage shown in the photos, also available to rent, is across the road from where we stayed. Elaine was very responsive and helpful, and sent some messages to help us get settled even though we booked with short notice. The farmhouse is right off a relatively busy two-lane highway with high-speed traffic during the day, so we set up camp in the back field. Elaine was kind enough to allow us to drive through the field to get back there, which was fine for our car but I wouldn’t recommend for a low-clearance or 2WD car because the tall grass makes it hard to spot obstacles or muddy spots (it would be a short walk in if you can’t or don’t want to drive back - easy parking at the farmhouse). After enjoying a fire with the provided fire pit, chairs, and dry firewood, we had a peaceful night’s sleep in our tent. Road noise died down at night and our spot was away from the road as well. It was just what we needed!

Great camping experience
It is a very good camping site with campfire, a hammock, a patio table with an umbrella and small grills. The house has a kitchen, a large living room with a TV and a stereo, an AC, WiFi, table games and stuff, two bathrooms and three bedrooms. Get inside the house if you want to upgrade to a more luxury camping experience. All in all, it is a very good place to enjoy some quiet and relaxing time.
