This is a wild and exposed setting on a steep grass/dirt driveway that best suits Overland and Truck Camper type all terrain vehicles. This is an adventurous site on the Kootenai River with tall pines, and steep rock scrambles to the water where the fish often bite. There are 2-plus spaces present with room for more if your group is larger. The lower space is good for one rig, and the upper space will hold a few rigs if that is needed. All-wheel/four-wheel drive recommended. There is cell service if you need it, but NO other utilities are present on-site. Turn right just after 86 Tall Timber Rd and drive 1000ft down the grass driveway to the landing area and enjoy! See photo’s for more guidance. This is an off-grid camp, however there is cell service. The location is just off of HWY 2, so you are only a few minutes from the Moyie Store services and a few miles from the Sturgeon Station! We only allow solo or group bookings to respect your privacy. Enjoy your stay.
