Nomadic camping
Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
We offer camping in various locations including riverfront and RV or travel trailer boon docking about 200 feet from the rivers edge. We do not provide water or sewer utilities. Depending on the location of your camp site we may have 120V electric available, consult with us on this prior to booking. Please bring your 4x4 or own tents if you will be riverfront camping because it’s a steep slope to access this location. We also have a separate acre lot on the edge of a huge forest if you want to go hunting. This is only an 8 minute drive from our property. For cooking we provide options including a charcoal grill, gas grill, charcoal pizza oven and a portable fire ring. We have free fire wood available but you will need a hatchet or some other way to cut it. We do not provide propane or charcoal. Guests are welcome to go fishing here so bring your rods and tackle. If you want to go swimming in the ocean the closest beach is about 20 minutes away with free parking. We also have a trampoline, a foosball table, and a kids size pool table for entertainment. Popular attractions nearby include Anastasia Island which is a 30 minute drive to St Augustine Beach with free showers, free parking, nice restaurants and sightseeing. Daytona Speedway and Marine Dolphin Adventure are both about a 35 minute drive. Jacksonville International Airport is a 1 hour drive away and Walt Disney World in Orlando is a 2 hour drive.Riverside has a beautiful view of the river with direct access to go fishing, kayak (bring your own) or just bird watching. This campsite elevation is about 8 foot higher than the river bank so there is no worries for flooding even during hard rains. There are no utilities but if you bring a 100 foot extension chord we can provide 120V which will be enough to use a small oven or stove top, etc. If you save a 4x4 you might be able to park your vehicle right there. Otherwise you will need to park closer to the main entrance and walk in and set up your tents. We are pet friendly and I will point out that we have a large dog that is our security patrol out here and he remains off leash at all times. The dog is very people friendly but we are not sure how it would interact with another dog on the property so your dog will need to be on a leash if it’s not getting along with our dog. We also have 3 cats out here.
