Situated 400 feet above the beautiful town of Calistoga, looking across the valley floor to the Palisades and Mount Saint Helena, Calistoga dreaming is a great spot for enjoying the wine country. Our property is just 3/4 of a mile from downtown Calistoga. Our campground was built for enjoying our RV on our own property. Now you can enjoy it as well with your RV.Camping amongst the Oaks and Firs, The camp when not in use by Hipcampers is the home of our RV. And now it can be home of your RV during your stay at Calistoga Dreaming. The Camp is located off our long driveway About halfway in between the entrance gate and our house. It’s quite private as our house is around 150 yards away through the forest. The nearest public road is about a third of a mile away. There’s a beautiful outdoor shower with unlimited hot and cold water. The RV parking area has both water and a 30 amp electrical hook up (there's also several std 20amp outlets throughput the campsite). There is a picnic table, a utility table and a propane fired griddle for your use. If you’re local to the Bay Area and want to use our camp as your base for exploring the wine country, feel free to come with your RV and a second vehicle. There is plenty of space. That way you can set up your RV at the camp and then do day trips with 2nd vehicle. While the camp site itself is flat, our property is on hillside, you need to be fairly skilled and careful maneuvering into and out of the camp site with your RV.

Bucolic
22 ft campervan
The owner was friendly and accommodating- a bucolic setting with peek a boo view to the city of Calistoga. Outdoor shower with hot water and built in kitchen area lends itself to a longer stay. Loved the fire chimney with all the cut wood. Highly recommend for an off the beaten path overnight experience!

16 ft pop-up camper · With pets
Peter was a very gracious host. Was very clear with directions and came by on our arrival to ensure we got settled in. It was a great site (with power and water!) and an incredible view of Calistoga through the trees. The outdoor shower was amazing - even in February. Such a quiet spot for only being about 7 minutes from downtown Calistoga. We will be back!

Peter's place is a 10!
17 ft Class B
Peter's place is exceptional, as was his hospitality. His communications from initial reservation through helping us back into the space were very helpful. We arrived in the dark, he met us at the spot and showed us the hookups and shower, and even had a fire going for us to warm by. We could sense the view even in the dark, but the morning proved what an outstanding view it has and how private the space is. Quiet, comfortable and with all the amenities advertised PLUS Peter's great hospitality, makes this space a solid 10.
