Converted into my home over a decade ago, this bus served as my home until I bought this property in 2006, and it has since been the deluxe guest bus. It is very comfortable and comes with all the luxury one would expect in a cabin -- hot water, full kitchen, refrigerator, and queen bed. It should be noted however, that the ceiling is 6 foot high, and thus my not be suited to tall people! Also, there is a private toilet, but it is not inside the bus...instead it is a short jaunt from the front door. Also, I suggest bringing flip flops or some kind of easy on and off shoes, both for the bus and the bathroom jaunt. I request that the bus be kept as a "no shoes" environment, as I am discovering that the enviro oak flooring is quite sensitive to wear. Built mainly from recycled & resourced second hand materials, the bus is a 1985 Chevy with a Detroit Diesel engine. Her interior was designed with the "live lightly on the land" aesthetic and all appliances were chosen because they work well with solar power, including propane fridge and oven/stove and wood stove. The bus can sleep kids up to 15 years of age and additional bedding is available -- however it is not "child-proofed" so probably not the best for a toddler. Furthermore, I'm willing to consider small dogs (10 lbs and under), but the bus will not accommodate medium and big-sized dogs. Bohemian Bus Beautiful
What a beautiful, tranquil enclave in the middle of the woods. Nothing to hear but the birds and the trees, and a friendly community of artists and healers as hosts. This place is special - there’s something to discover in every corner, and the stars shine bright at night. The bus is super cool, plenty cozy, and loaded with artsy, funky relics and designs. We stayed there with our 9 year-old daughter, and it was the perfect amount of space. Thank you for your kindness and generous welcome, Blake! ❤️
