Rockcliffe is now the biggest winery in the region. We sell wines all over the world and in Australia. We focus on producing small batches of high-quality wines, all of which can be tasted at the Rockcliffe Cellar Door. We welcome self-contained travelers to come and stay for 1, 2 or 3 nights maximum. On booking your site, you will be amongst the vines on one of our levelled bays which are allocated on a first come basis. It is important you have your own toilet, as we do not offer facilities here outside of our cellar door hours. Overflow camping is also available in the paddock across from the winery, suitable over summer when it is dry and we are running our summer music events over the weekend. We have a mountain biking track that goes around the vines, paddocks, and through the forests, all of which are part of the beautiful Rockcliffe property. The camping areas are a very short walk to the cellar door where you can taste all of our delicious wines or treat your children to Gelato and Fudge. We also offer Cheese Platters, Pizza's and Fries. We set up our camper trailer for 4 nights in the lovely big grassy area next to the dam. There were quite a few other campers but everyone was quiet and respectful and still had plenty of space between. The paddock is surrounded by beautiful big gum trees - plenty of bird life. Margaret was very friendly - she popped past to welcome us the evening we arrived and was quick to reply when we messaged. Albany put on a good show for our stay - minimal wind and plenty of sunshine. A special part of the world.

The site was lovely and level by the dam and very pretty. It was a great base for exploring the area. The hosts were really friendly and the produce was welcome and completely unexpected thank you . These are 2 sites opposite one another across the dam and quite private with a scattering of trees. Very occasional road noise and the odd train but a fantastic spot !!
