**Please Note - Due to flooding damage last winter we lost our water supply to the bush baths and showers so they are unavailable until further notice. Please message us if unsure. Thank you for your patience.** This property has 70 acres of lush Karri forest with the original old logging trails from approximately 100 years ago, which make for beautiful nature walks. The track through the forest, for the main campsite is about 3.5m wide and and can get a little slippery so caution is needed but can be done in small and large vehicles (probably not big RV). There is open air bath and shower which is heated from an old brae-mar hot water system. There is one transportable long drop toilet near the site and a fire pit for cooking and sitting around but other from that you have to be self sufficient. There is access to drinking water.. If the campsite is unavailable or you don't won't to drive through the forest, you are welcome to set up camp on the green pasture on the hill with great views but there are NO amenities there and you would have to be completely self-contained. We are approximately a 10 minute drive from the beautiful Greens pool and Elephant Rocks beach, and about 15 minutes' drive to the town of Denmark, WA. Pets on leashes are welcome. For any further queries you're welcome to contact Dean via messages.**Please Note - Due to flooding our main campsite with the bush baths is unavailable until further notice. Awesome place, Dean very welcoming host, very colorful character to talk with & very passionate about the land & surrounds. The area we stayed was under the big tree near the big house, perfect location for the caravans.

Dream forest camping experience!
Karri Getaway in Denmark is really something special. The Karri forest is beautiful and tranquil and it is set up so that campers feel they have the whole place to themselves. Dean is the perfect host- from showing us around the property and making sure we always had enough firewood to keep us warm, to offering to show us around the many walking trails through the forest with his Australian sheperd Sara and hearing a little of the history of the land (and even a bush side poetry recital!) The drive in and out of the forest campsite was a bit of a challenge in our 2WD with the recent rain however Dean was very helpful with tips and we managed it without any problems. Thank you Dean for the memorable experience!

Best spot in Denmark
We loved our stay at the Karri getaway and will definitely be back again soon! It was private, clean and had plenty of walking trails for us and the dog :)
