Many people commented they would love to do that, which gave us the idea of sharing our amazing journey with others. We are located within easy driving distance of Greens lake and the Waranga basin for fishing, boating and swimming activities and only 15km from Rushworth and the historic Whroo township.Campers are welcome to join us as we feed the animals and can book horse drawn wagon rides during their stay. Glenmaye Farm is a family run oasis in the foothills of the Strathbogie Ranges. Running alongside the headwaters of the Faithfulls Creek, dotted with rocky outcrops, steep gullies and world class waterfalls over ancient rock formations. The land is wild and there is something to see around every corner and over every rise. Views for days from up the top, and spots along the creek that you could relax in for hours on a warm sunny afternoon. An abundance of wildlife to delight the senses, from Eagles to Echidnas and everything in between. If you are looking to completely immerse yourself in nature, discover stunning scenery and feel like you are the only people on earth then Glenmaye Farm is for you. Glenmaye is an easy 15km drive off the Hume Freeway, out of Euroa. 2 hours North of Melbourne. When purchased in early 2000’s this farm was like many others in this region, completely over used, covered in weeds and not much more, farmed conventionally with no regard for the fragility of this land compared to flat land down stream. So we stopped farming sheep, converted to cattle and loosely practice regenerative agriculture techniques. Whilst still a work in progress, many of the native trees and grasses are slowly coming back and while weeds are still a problem they are adding back to the soil and allowing the natives some protection to get established. We have a range of different camping options available, with hopefully more to come as we go along. At present our facilities are basic however we will be investing in some facility options as soon as we can so watch this space. We have firewood available to purchase and often have a surplus of produce available to share so please ask. We look forward to meeting you and sharing this little paradise with you soon.

The farm is fully powered by solar and is a busy, sustainable, biodynamically-certified farm with Maine-Anjou/short-horn cattle that are grass fed, well natured, calm and muscular animals. In addition to growing prime biodynamic beef, Katherina and Gary Baker of Eden Farm also grow vegetables, fruit, olives, sunflowers, crops, spring flowers, corn and have various friendly care animals including rabbits, cats, dogs, chickens and milking cows that are used across the social enterprise, Eden Farm Wellness. The animals are friendly and even the bull, Tas, delights in having his neck rubbed ’til the cows come home. Our 300-acre off-grid property backs onto the Barmah National Park. This forest, together with the adjoining Millewa forest, forms the largest River Red Gum forest in the world - it's majestic to explore. Our property is just 500 meters from the Murray River. From your camp, roughly a 1 kilometre walk through the forest. On our boundary is Backwater Creek, which fills with water when the Murray River is up. NOTE: Creek is often dry. It has water in it after environmental flows of the Murray. This can happen several times a year and the water lasts a few months. If you have any questions about water levels please ask before booking as it might be dry when you're here. We're located just 5kms northeast of Moama, where you can hop aboard a paddle-steamer, visit waterside wineries and soak up rich riverboat heritage. We offer a few large, beautiful, basic bush camping sites (the best kind!) in amongst 50 acres of bushland, with 100's of meters and trees between you and other potential campers. The rest of our property is used for cropping and sheep. Campers must take out what you bring in. Big Bama and No 3 - you'll need to be fully self contained. There is a dump point in Moama. Toilets can be hired from Central Hire in Echuca. They can deliver it for you. Mobile and internet is usually reliable, though with long weekends and summer school holidays the service seems to disappear! *Please feel free to book anyone in your possie that is under 18 as a child.

We have lots of native plants on the property and have a spring fed dam on the property which is a beautiful spot to relax at twilight and try to spot the native wildlife. Our horse property is located only 20 minutes from Benalla or 30 minutes from Wangaratta with plenty to do in the surrounding area. From the property there is access to the Silo Art Trail, King Valley, Victorian High Country and a number of Sate Parks full of beautiful walks. Pets are welcome off leash but please be mindful of the horses, cattle and wildlife that are on the property.We have a portable toilet available for your use and fire pits available as well. Fire pit use is pending on fire restrictions.
