**Please be aware that for the month of November and December we will not be allowing camp fires due to risk to the crop. If no camp fire would be a disappointment (and we wouldn't blame you for being disappointed given the camp fire is the main activity!), you are best to book for outside this period. Our 300-acre off-grid property backs onto the Barmah National Park. This forest, together with the adjoining Millewa forest, forms the largest River Red Gum forest in the world - it's majestic to explore. Our property is just 500 meters from the Murray River. From your camp, roughly a 1 kilometre walk through the forest. On our boundary is Backwater Creek, which fills with water when the Murray River is up. NOTE: Creek is often dry. It has water in it after environmental flows of the Murray. This can happen several times a year and the water lasts a few months. If you have any questions about water levels please ask before booking as it might be dry when you're here. We're located just 5kms north-east of Moama, where you can hop aboard a paddle-steamer, visit waterside wineries and soak up rich riverboat heritage. We offer a few large, beautiful, basic bush camping sites (the best kind!) in amongst 50 acres of bushland, with 100's of meters and trees between you and other potential campers. The rest of our property is used for cropping and sheep. Campers must take out what you bring in. Mobile phone service and internet is usually reliable, though with long weekends and summer school holidays the service seems to disappear! Completely. This forest, together with the adjoining Millewa forest, forms the largest River Red Gum forest in the world - it's majestic to explore. Our property is just 500 meters from the Murray River. From your camp, roughly a 1 kilometre walk through the forest. On our boundary is Backwater Creek, which fills with water when the Murray River is up. NOTE: Creek is often dry. It has water in it after environmental flows of the Murray. This can happen several times a year and the water lasts a few months. If you have any questions about water levels please ask before booking as it might be dry when you're here. We're located just 5kms north-east of Moama, where you can hop aboard a paddle-steamer, visit waterside wineries and soak up rich riverboat heritage. We offer a few large, beautiful, basic bush camping sites (the best kind!) in amongst 50 acres of bushland, with 100's of meters and trees between you and other potential campers. The rest of our property is used for cropping and sheep. Campers must take out what you bring in. Mobile phone service and internet is usually reliable, though with long weekends and summer school holidays the service seems to disappear! Completely. We loved camping here! Gorgeous landscape, with a tasteful bush bathroom on offer. Very private although other campers close by. Hosts were super friendly and accommodating. We’d love to go again!

Weekend Trip to Hidden Beauty on Broken Creek
We loved our stay here ! We were treated warmly by Peter, and had a lot of room to set up our camp. Great access to toilets/showers/kitchen, and enjoyed the lovely site. Peter kindly showed us around the property, and we were able to feed the cow and sheep, and see the many other animals on their property. If you are looking for a farm stay, I would highly recommend !!!

Carole and Peter are wonderful hosts. We stayed on site 2, which is elevated above the Broken Creek. This site is best for people towing a caravan. Site one would be a challenge to get into for people towing vans as it is down behind the homestead, by the broken creek. The amenities on the property were awesome (toilet, shower, washing machine). This is our 4th Hipcamp stay, and we weren’t disappointed. Highlights: The serenity, the farm animals, access to the Broken Creek, centrally located: 15 minutes to Benella, an hours drive to other regional centres.

Great property. Tim was a good host with good communication. We camped at camp spot #5 which didn't have easy or close river access, which was dissapointing as it wasnt what was pictured in photos. Id suggested to speak with Tim specifically about what water access the specific sites have if you were too book. Would stay again though, in a spot with river access.

We had a great time coming to Glenmaye Farm with our three young kids. We had a lovely tour from the get-go from Matine and Ben.The farm provided space and privacy and all the camp sites were segregated. Our kids loved riding their bikes on the dirt roads and hills. We also saw the cows and the horses every day and some even came close up to our camper. For new years we travelled to Shepparton which was a short distance and we got to celebrate New Years Eve with the fireworks at the festival in Mooroopna at the oval. Although there was minimal reception, it was exactly what we needed to switch off and focus on the amazing views Glenmaye farm has to offer. Thank you for having us Matine, we loved staying here and will be back again.

Carmel was welcoming and friendly and the campsite was lovely, quiet and secluded. The spaces were nice and big with shelters and fire pits, and the camp kitchen was perfect - it meant we didn't need to unpack a thing! The showers and toilets were clean and big. It was lovely to sit and watch the birds we fed with the birdseed left for campers to put out, and we loved the bench looking over to the wetlands! Thanks for a great spot Carmel.

Our campsite felt spacious and secluded - Matine has done a great job of setting out the sites so that everyone can enjoy their own space and the stunning views of the surrounding property. We stayed at Window to the Wetlands for two nights to explore Echuca which was a 30min drive away. The facilities were excellent, very clean, campground was watered and green, and individual sites were spaced far enough apart to not feel crowded. The shelters at each camp ground and rubber floor meant that set up was easy and you could easily stay longer. Each site had potable water and were very quiet. Carmel is a wonderful host, responsive and accommodating. Highly recommend staying here.

The best! What welcoming and kind hosts! Very generous with their time, our kids didn’t want to leave. We didn’t spot the platypus, but the ambulance of bird life and farm animals made up for it. We will go out of our way to visit again

Great camp was huge for the two of us and our dog Leo, we arrived in 38 degree heat, having the river was a life saver. We went to the swimming section lots of times and Leo our dog loved it. We drove over purely because it was so hot. Otherwise a nice 8/10 min walk from camp. Added bonus of having fire wood already at the pit and a trash can and bin bag for rubbish. Very secluded didn’t hear or see any other campers. Would definitely stay again. ⭐️

We camped at Glenmaye Farm for 2 nights and loved our time there. The hosts were incredibly friendly and gave some great info about surrounding sites and activities, as well as providing good information around safety and hiking in the bush (eg. prepared us for the chance encounters of snakes, which we did ending up having!) But the biggest drawcard was the incredible waterfall they have on the property! Toilets were clean and accessible also. Highly recommend and looking forward to coming back for another visit.
