Boil yourself a billy on the communal fire or byo gas bbq and sip tea in bed or gaze at the birds, trees or river and breathe in the serenity. You are away from. everything here. This is camping at its best: quiet, away from it all, yet plenty to do if you want to. There are camp toilets, a washing up area and (non-drinking). A solar shower is available (though may not always have been sun heated that day) or invigorate yourself with a bathe in the shallow crystal clear clean river. BYO drinking water and camping gear please. Sleep or read under the trees, paddle in the creek or explore the incredible beauty of the surrounding area. The property adjoins state forest and is protected in a valley. Onsite massages, Reiki, Meditation and Deep Relaxation sessions are on offer and one day and half day tours of the local area will surprise and delight. On early morning walks, you might spy the elusive native platypus or fish for a trout. Toboggans are available for hire to enjoy the nearby snow in winter. There are a range of local walking trails, bike trails and activities for the whole family or have a romantic picnic with your beloved/s in nature. Located only 1.5 hours from Melbourne, there is good Telstra phone range. It is only 10 mins from the historic Reefton Pub with its delicious country meals, live music and famous Thurs eve trivia nights or just 20 mins away are the quirky Warburton's cafes and sublime arts scene. There's history, water parks, wineries, Healesville Sanctuary, the Ada Tree (Victoria's tallest tree) and the famous Redwood Forest is only 10 mins drive. A few bit of info so you know the set up: - You must arrive in daylight. It is not safe to try and park in the dark and find your way. If you arrive after dark you will need to park on the street until morning. - There is a short walk from your car to the campsite area, a hand cart is supplied to carry your stuff. - There is a short steep downhill with steps from the campsites to the creek. - My partner and I live on the property in a small cottage. Camping is at least 10 metres away from cottage. We love camping visitors staying and we love privacy and peace as much as you do. - A cat and chooks live there too. If your kids want to hold the chooks or collect eggs for your breakfast we can arrange that. - All dogs & cats must be on a leash at all times and if it barks or a nuisance you will have to leave. - There are dogs in neighbouring properties who sometimes bark. - We are close to the gloriously beautiful Warburton-Marysville-Healesville scenic drive so occasionally there may be sounds of traffic. - Toilets are basic camping toilets in a toilet tent. Tank water supplied is strictly not drinkable. - We have planted screening trees/bushes but until they grow up more you can still see the neighbours cottages from some angles. Come and enjoy, it's close enough for one night or more, however you will want to stay forever!

Our pet friendly property is located in a quiet neighbourhood, easily accessible from the road (no 4WD needed) and ideal for swags, tents or campers. Power, tank water, bins and compost toilet are included! It’s only a short wander to the Silver Creek where a 4WD track leads you into the Mount Disappointment State Forrest. The space is part of our front yard and our property is located at the end of a quiet no through road. Your camp site is tucked in between the trees away from our family house with plenty of flat space. Welcome to Nanadhong Views. Nanadhong is the local indigenous name for the Cathedral Range. We are located on the western slope of the Cathedral with beautiful views to its peak as well as across the Acheron valley to the Black Range and South to Dom Dom and the Black Spur. This property was previously a home site but was burned out in the 2009 fires. Now being returned to nature and available for camping only. Two dams and a seasonal creek attract birds and local wildlife. A total of 30 acres is available for exploring and enjoying the views. This private location has a single site with power and water, suitable for two vans or several camper trailers, a flushing toilet and further grassed areas suitable for tents and camper trailers. A camp shelter currently under construction will provide somewhere out of the weather with lighting, water and power available. The property is located 30 minutes from Lake mountain where you can ski during winter or hike and mountain bike during summer. Lake Eildon is also 30 minutes away and a great venue for fishing, swimming and boating. The Acheron, Rubicon and Goulburn rivers are close by and suitable for fishing and kayaking. Mountain bike riders can also try the tracks at Buxton or Eildon. There are many hiking/walking options including the historical Rubicon Valley just 20 minutes away. If you are into 4wd’ing or trail bikes there are many tracks in the Black Range across the road or the Big River area.

'Bwah-Dale', from the French, meaning wood, or forest, valley] there's a permanent creek [the King Parrot] with swimming holes and paddling areas, and access to flat or gently undulating campsites in what must be one of the prettiest valleys in Australia - if not the world, but I am biased.Access is via a 14ft gate entry and ok for caravans being towed by 4WD. Also great for camper trailers, tent campers & swags. High clearance 2WD access is ok.We need campers to be self-sufficient with own amenities. This means own camping toilet and leave no trace. We want you to leave the space how you found it.We are dog friendly as long as they are well controlled.Campfires are permitted as long as restrictions aren't in place. Firewood can be gathered from fallen timber in the vicinity.BYO water. We have rainwater tanks at the house if you need to fill up drinking water in an emergency and access to mains power on application.

Multiple tracks head through the Yarra State Forest where you can wind your way along dirt roads through to Noojee, Powelltown, or Reefton, each of which have a cosy pub at the end of the drive. There are different campsite locations on the property, depending on if you would like isolation or convenience. We also offer excellent toilet and bathroom facilities which are now included with all bookings. Iron Brook Donkey Farm is located on rolling hills of mountain pasture, backing on to the Yarra State Forest. The donkey farm is situated conveniently, halfway between the popular redwood forest, and the giant Ada tree walk. Just chill in your own time, or book an activity or a donkey ride. Donkeys can take riders up to 70kg We do allow pets, but this MUST be discussed with us prior to booking as we have strict rules around this. We also allow campfires only when fire restrictions aren't in place - which is often all summer. Children under 3 are free, but for insurance purposes, please mention them in the comments. Day visitors are $20 per person, which incudes a donkey patting session. This property has an overall capacity to ensure that our number of visitors remain low. This not only ensures that campers recieve the space and peace they look for in a campsite like this, but also so that we can ensure the bathrooms can be kept clean and not overloaded. This is also a part of our COVID safe plan. Due to this overall capacity it is important that you book for the number of people that you intend to have stay, as while we try to accomodate increases to booking numbers, they are not guaranteed unless booked. If we have met overall capacity then we may not be able to approve increases to booking numbers. This is for the comfort and safety of all our visitors. Thank you If you intend to purchase firewood or power or donkey rides or anything from the Donkey Shop during your stay, please bring cash to pay, and payments must be made up front, unfortunately, too often guests have been leaving without having paid for their rides or firewood.

The property is situated adjacent to the State forest, so you'll have nature at your doorstep, with bush walks and an abundance of wildlife, not to mention meeting the local resident animals; Our two horses, two Highland cows, many chickens, guinea pigs and of course, Zeik, our lovable Goat! We have plenty of green, open space, for you to set up. We also have an undercover area to sit, with a kettle, toaster, and power point to charge phones which you are welcome to use. Please Note: There is a slight undulation in much of the cleared area, so some campers/caravans may require leveling. If you require a flat area, please message us to see if we have one available. Site 1 is for caravans and self contained campers Site 2 has access to a site toilet for non self contained campers... Public holidays/Long weekends have a minimum nightly stay, please message us for any queries. Please note, Millers Farm is a place for travelers who are after a peaceful, relaxing camping experience. It is not a place for rowdy groups. We love all animals including Dogs, but unfortunately, due to our roaming animals, we cannot entertain pets anymore. Long periods of wet weather may affect some of the camping areas. Therefore, we recommend keeping an eye on the weather report close to your stay and if you have any concerns, please touch base with us! OUR LOCATION: Neerim South is located in the southern foothills of the Great Dividing Range, there is so much to see and do nearby, including Neerim South Brewery, Toronga Water Falls, walking trails, the famous Noojee Pub, Mt Baw Baw tourist drive, Blue rock Lake which is great for fishing and swimming, there's old historical trestle bridges, Walhalla Mining town and lots more.

The space is part of our front yard and our property is located at the end of a quiet no through road. Your camp site is tucked in between the trees away from our family house with plenty of flat space. Sit at the picnic table or around the fire pit (season permitting) and take in the piece and quiet with plenty of wildlife to enjoy.
