If you’re looking for a place to set up camp while enjoying a hike through Kinglake National Park then our little space is just made for you. There are plenty of day walks starting right next to your camp or you can go for a swim in the nearby King Parrot Creek. With just 40min drive to Yarra Valley Wineries you are in a perfect location to set up camp and explore the region. Our pet friendly property is located in a quiet neighbourhood, easily accessible from the road (no 4WD needed) and ideal for swags, tents or campers. Power, tank water, bins and compost toilet are included! The space is part of our front yard and our property is located at the end of a quiet no through road. Your camp site is tucked in between the trees away from our family house with plenty of flat space. Sit at the picnic table or around the fire pit (season permitting) and take in the piece and quiet with plenty of wildlife to enjoy.Welcome to our lovely Silver Creek Escape! If you are looking for a perfect spot close to Melbourne, stop searching, Clara and Caleb will welcome you in their little paradise with a smile! Next to a National park and a little creek, their camping site is full of charm. I would recommend to try the bread, it’s delicious…

Highly recommend coming here! Such a beautiful location, and the creek across the road was perfect for a dip in the hot weather. A really comfortable set up for camping, felt more like glamping! And Clara and Caleb left a big pile of kindling for us to start a fire which was so lovely. Easy to get to and hosts also provided really clear instructions on where anything was in the area. 10/10

Nice location and great hosts!

This is a lovely location with great hosts. Right next to Silver Creek and state forest. Lots of walking trails. Power on site (suggest a 20m 15A extension cord) and very clean compost toilet. We ordered a sourdough loaf and it was fantastic. For pit ready to use! We were called away due to family emergency but will be back. Ah the serenity.

Silver Creek Escape

Great camping spot at Silver Creek. Nice secluded spot with plenty of space for tents, fire and activities for the kids. Compost toilet was a bonus, was clean and no smell. Close walking distance to the creek, national park and short drive to Kinglake and other townships. Highly recommend to others.
