Set among native scrub, the site offers the authentic sounds of bird calls drifting through the trees and the gentle presence of sheep grazing nearby. From camp, you can take in wide, open views across rolling hills and distant ridgelines, accompanied by the dry creeks which make a great setting for a lovely stroll creating the perfect backdrop for a peaceful getaway. Whether you’re after a quiet spot to relax or a place to explore the outdoors, this campsite provides a genuine bush setting with plenty of room to unwind under the star filled open sky. It has plenty to offer with very secluded sites with maximum privacy. All sites are equipped with a very generous camping area, ideal for bigger groups. Preferably suited to off-road caravans and campers but still accessible by an everyday vehicle. Ruff Run Camping is for self contained units or feel free to use natures toilet! About 15 minutes up the road is Mannum Waterfalls - a beautiful place for enjoying nature, walking, climbing, and paddling in the rock pools. And, for interstate visitors, we are about an hour and a quarter from Victor Harbour, Adelaide, or the Barossa Valley. At Mypolonga Sunshine, I offer The Old Stone Dairy, a building that is over 100 years old and has been converted into a comfortable space to rest up for a night or several. It's not a luxury destination, but has a historic charm, and provides a farm-stay style experience. The property is 7 acres, and there are 3 horses, 2 dogs and 10 chooks also residing here. Dogs and other pets are welcome - you are even welcome to bring your own horse. We have a yard available for your horse, at a small additional cost per night (please add to booking via Extras).

Nice and quiet spot with a fire pit and plenty of privacy. We didn't see or hear a car or other person during our stay - it was awesome to not be packed in like a sardine like in the public camp grounds that you still need to pay to stay at. We will be back!

2 nights at Ruff Run Camping

We loved our stay at Toby’s Hipcamp as we’ve visited that area many times staying at Burra Creek Gorge at Worlds End etc. But to have such spacious rolling hills interesting farmland to ourselves we felt privileged and didn’t leave Ruff Run for the whole time. The simple things like walking up the escarpment to magnificent views sitting by a great fire pit with dry wood supplied and enjoying the cacophony of birds at times. It was pure magic and great for the soul to get away from hectic living. Thanks Toby. You couldn’t be more helpful. Cheers

1 night at Ruff Run Camping

We had a great stay at Ewe Beauty, very secluded, plenty of space for a large group! Toby the host was very helpful and directions were clear. Can’t wait to come back again!
