Our property is located in the rocky outcrops of the Bremer Ranges and is on the Bremer River in Rockleigh. This site was once a overnight yard for the sheep farmers who were passing through the area. We have three separate locations for campers to choose from. The Gums- surrounded by small gum trees right near the Bremer River. The Carob- this site is situated further back from the river and is surrounded by mulberry trees. Lastly we have The Sticks- this site is behind the scrubby bushed and requires tight access and is more suited to tents and swags. The decent into camp is quite narrow and steep so please drive carefully. We are 45 minute drive from the Lavender Federation Trail which is a popular walking track in the region. We are only 30 minutes drive from Monarto Conservation Park which is a popular spot for walking trails and picnics. Monarto is also home to a Safari Park which is the largest Safari Park in Australia and home to lots of interesting animals. We have 2 toilets available but please BYO toilet paper. Sorry, no pets. While you sit at the camps sites, enjoy watching the Cadell Ferry, appreciate birds and wildlife, or just enjoy the river boats on their journey up or down our mighty River Murray. You just might be able to catch one of the cruise boats or paddle steamers cruise past, make sure you give them a wave as they pass by. Pindari Park has many gravel roads and tracks to follow for taking a hike/walk, however, please note that this property is on a cliff, therefore it may not be suitable for young children and caution must be taken at all times. The site is suited to people who want a quiet secure base from which to explore the region. Camp site is fully fenced on 5 acres. No chemicals used on the block. The camp site is on a section of 5 acres of this property. Its location is approximately 5 min drive from the Murray River where you can enjoy boating, swimming, and fishing at Woodlane Reserve. Majestic river red gums in the area make for beautiful walks along the bitumen road as seen in the photos. Mypolonga is a small agricultural town. The location is reasonably quiet however at peak times you may be able to hear boats from the river, or the other agricultural pursuits on the farms. The location is approximately 20 km from Murray Bridge and 1 hour from Adelaide and the Barossa Valley. Monarto Safari Park is 25km away and there is private wetlands Paiwalla on the opposite side of the river which you visit by kayak/canoe or drive. We are currently not allowing children or dogs. Cats are acceptable. Potable water is available at the site. A small extra fee will be charged depending on your requirements. If you need a protected area for your gas burner cooking there is a solid brick room available also.

Weekend Trip to Tanah Merdeka

We enjoyed our one night stay at Kangaroo Creek. It was peaceful and spacious - lots of birds to spot. Thomas was helpful to let us know where we could walk to explore the property. Would stay again.

Zero net carbon cellar door front. We export three times the amount of electricity we use. We designed the building to be energy efficient.

Camping at Kangaroo Creek was lovely! Thomas met us upon arrival and told us about his beautiful land (and his adorable cows!). He was really nice and let us explore the grounds. The camp spot was private, quiet and was great for pitching our tent. We even saw a couple of kangaroos and a lot of cockatoos! The drive there was easy with a 2WD. We would definitely go back, and I can recommend it to everyone regardless of camping style!

We loved camping overnight at Waterfront Holiday Park, Taliem Bend. Very spacious pitches and clean facilities. The toilet and shower block exceeded my expectations on cleanliness. Perfect overnight break to refresh on our road trip. The booking and check in process was seamless.

Location was excellent with great shade for a few 35+ days. Site is on rock so a little hard to peg in but if you have a screw drill or a person with strong arms for a hammer and peg you can get it done. Other sites have lush grass that is meticulously cared for by the owners. Everyone was quiet and courteous in the campground. Hosts were excellent to deal with and took care of the amenities promptly. You can tell they take great pride in this campsite. Water is an easy walk away with plenty of places for relaxing swims. 💯 recommend for short or long stays.

It was a great experience for us at Woodland Scrub. We were on the road trip from Sydney to Adelaide and on the day 4. There was no internet connection, no view of nature but trees and red sand on the ground. But we liked this property was private and quiet. This campsite is a great spot for camper who spend time with someone who you love. Doing campfire is available. Loved this place.

Lovely campground with beautiful green grass, generous sized sites, and a gorgeous sunset river view. The ammenities were very luxurious, large, clean, and very modern. The laundry didn’t require coins which was handy. The campground is also a 30 minute drive from Monarto Safari park which is a huge bonus. Highly recommend this spot!

Beautiful location, plenty of space. Great if you're self contained. Toilet and drinking water available if required. Perfectly convenient for a lazy afternoon on the premisis drinking wine and tasting all the restaurant has to offer with only a 200m walk home!

7 nights at Harry’s Rockleigh Bush Camp

I had the most peaceful, refreshing time away — just what we needed to unwind from the busy city of NSW. The campsite itself is beautiful: spacious flat areas nestled among native trees with gorgeous views across the fields and stunning sunrises each morning. The serenity here is unbeatable. The facilities were excellent for a bush camp — clean bush toilets, a refreshing shower, and a well-equipped camp kitchen with a gas BBQ made cooking easy and fun. I would have loved to of brought firewood and enjoyed cosy evenings by the campfire, under a star-filled sky but unfortunately time of year with the total fire ban. But still relaxing under the stars at night with beautiful breeze. Harry and the team were warm, welcoming hosts who made us feel right at home. They were happy to share tips about the property and the daily greets of the friendly farm animals. This spot is perfect for anyone after a relaxed, nature-filled getaway — whether in a tent, campervan, rooftop tent and it’s super pet-friendly too. Can’t wait to return when I’m in SA next.
