I have hired a mini bus for the warwick rodeo weekend 25-26 October 2024 It is to take the campers into and from the rodeo to save them getting taxis or having long walks Pick up and drop off at your campsite. Will have port a loos scattered through out the camp sites for free over rodeo weekend. Camp sites are located on Condamine River . Kayaking swimming yabbies and fishing available on the Condamine. . We only take minimal campers. Order your delicious free range eggs and ,meat trays in advance. Also have a breakfast special which is 1/2 KG shop smoked bacon and 1 doz 700 gm free range eggs. Also have firewood for sale. Unprecessed honey also available. Campfires permitted if restrictions aren't in place. Dogs permitted. Children are free. Kayaks are free. We have a very private campsite for clothing optional campers. There is also 6 powered sites back of the river. There is also showers and toilets near the powered sites . There are also 11 port a loos available for a cleaning fee. Please ensure you check our arrival directions before you come. Our place is easy to find, but we are farmers and always out working, so we probably won't be at the house when you arrive.

Situated in the Caldera under the shadow of Mount Warning is a small secluded acreage within the bend of a large creek. It is comprised of an open creek flat with views of the mountain and horses grazing that is surrounded by some remnant and some regenerated subtropical rainforest along the creek frontage. There are a couple of small private swimming holes and walking tracks along the creek where you can stop and sit for some quiet contemplation, watch the native birdlife, do some forest bathing, or maybe even spot some local platypus or other native wildlife. We offer 4 separate powered sites, that you are welcome to choose from on arrival based on availability. NOTE: two private power sites are available upon request on arrival , if conditions are favourable . You will need to have two power leads to hook to power though. We have room for large caravans, motorhomes and buses. Please note, one vehicle/caravan per site. If you have multiple vehicles/caravans, you will need to book multiple sites. Weather permitting (no rain) we also have two unpowered sites available in another paddock, closer to the creek. There is no power or water at these sites, and you will need to be self-contained. We also have a gazebo/camp kitchen available to all guests where you can relax and take in the tranquil atmosphere of the property. Running water, power, and BBQ are supplied here. All campers must be self-contained at this time, with their own camp toilet. We have Telstra mobile reception here only.

I have 8 sites at the moment each one is in a open bushland setting with lovely views, no site is within 100 meters of another and each one has a different view with lots of privacy, and all Dog and Kid friendly, shallow water, and deep water for swimming or kayaking , creeks, animals to feed and heaps of room to run and play. Adult friendly, huge sites for big groups and plenty of space, great swimming and lots of things to here and in the surrounding areas. Some sites are more suited to Caravans as the access is better and some are better suited to campers / 4WD but all can be accessed with a regular car. We have NO road frontage so sites are private, quiet and safe and only 3ks off the New England Highway. All campers MUST bring their own Chemical toilet and shower facilities. A small rest room and shower is available in case of emergency only I run a working farm raising Sheep and Lambs, Chickens, Ducks, Horses, Donkeys, Vegies, Preserves and Jams. Farm produce is available on request and availability, eg Free range eggs , farm raised Lamb, locally sourced Bacon for the BBQ , and seasonal vegetables, jams and chutneys. Thanks to the Beautiful rain we have had recently, our large dam is full, providing a wonderful spot for swimming, paddling or just splashing about, the Dam has long sloping access so is great for families and dogs, PLEASE NOTE The Google Maps photo is way out of date, our Dam is full. For those who may be into Waterskiing or Fishing Leslie Dam is a 10 min drive away and offers fishing and water sports then come back to your quiet camp away from the crowds. We are 20 min South of Warwick, We are only 30 min from the Stanthorpe Wineries, Breweries fresh fruit and Vege, Cheese factory to name a few things to do. A little further along you will find Girraween National Park renowned for amazing walks. Warwick Hosts the Biggest and Best Campdraft and Rodeo on the last full week of October (Covid permitting) as well as the quirky Jumpers and Jazz festival in July. Steam Train Journeys , half or full days, We have an amazing motor sport venue which holds meet every weekend, cars bikes, vintage, minis, Porsche's, you name it they race it every weekend. As well as many Equestrian Events, you can spend the day out exploring and then you can come back to your beautiful campsite, that is if you have not decided to stay relaxing and swimming for the day in the quiet watching the sheep and horses pass bye to then watch the Sunset and wildlife then look at the amazing night sky. Children under 13 free We are also Dog Friendly (conditions apply)

I was told that as I journeyed around Australia I would find a place to settle and Maryvale on the Darling Downs was love at first sight. I am happy to share my love for this property and welcome travellers to enjoy the tranquillity of the riverside and enjoy some of the walks and other features of the area. Welcome to She-oak Hideaway, located in Maryvale by the riverside. The riverside is a peaceful place with two large camping areas and firepits. There are 2 large waterholes suitable for swimming, fishing and kayaking. Down by the riverside you will see Water dragons, ducks, swamp hens, many birds, occasional Wallabies and Koala. Most afternoons the local Rikali (Australias Otter) can be seen diving for Yabbies. We are an 11 minute drive to the very popular Main range national Park which has some beautiful hiking trails and is the perfect place for a picnic. We have a great country pub close by as well which is a short walk down a country lane. Pets are welcome but please ensure they are under your control and that you clean up after them. Campers must be self sufficient with their own toilet. Rubbish bins are provided for campers and a treated rain water tap is available. Kayaks and life jackets are available on request. 1 10 Amp power connection is also available on request. Please contact me for early arrival time.

"Mindoo"

Located 19 km due east of the famous historical village of Tenterfield the working, cattle breeding, property "Mindoo" has recently opened its gates to campers. Framed by the rugged border range National Parks "Mindoo" is 1100 acres of rolling green hills dissected by the pure, cascading, waters of the Cataract River which provide a number of private riverside campsites. Campers are encouraged to meander along the continually changing River and explore its many secluded swimming holes and enjoy the abundant wildlife that cohabitates with the Angus/Wagyu cow herd. Direct access to the neighbouring National Parks and State Forests offers an array of day trips to hikers, mountain bikers, or horse riders where they can discover the natural treasures of Basket Swamp and Boonoo Boonoo Falls, Woolool Woolooni, among others. For those who require a little more comfort, and lets face it we all do at times, the Mindoo Cabin is available. Featuring three bedrooms, open plan living/dining/kitchen,and a shady deck overlooking the River the cabin sleeps eight and still allows visitors to partake in all the adventures that "Mindoo" offers with the benefit of a comfortable rest when the day is done. For those interested in exploring the park trails via horseback we can also provide secure lodgings for your horses, with quality hay available for purchase. Be as adventurous or as restfull as you please as both options are freely available. Mountain Biking, Hilking, Horse riding, or just riding your hammock and relaxing we are sure you will enjoy your time at "Mindoo" There is approximately 4km gravel road to get to the property. Mobile reception is patchy (telstra) you may need to get to the top of a hill for reception. Very little or no reception for other networks. Our aim is for your visit to be private so are spacing our sites . From Easter will no longer have undesignated river sites, all river sites will be designated and spaced a part. If you have a large group the Park One & the bend are large spaces. As most of our sites are on the river and have farm tracks to access, if it is wet we may have to move you to a different site. 4wds are recommended for all sites. We have recently levelled the camping area at Rockpool Junction and The Falls, the grass is slowly returning. (August 2024) Send us a message if you have any questions.

Our property is in a pocket backing onto Spring Mountain, providing plenty opportunity to explore our green surroundings with its many walking trails around the estate or on the mountain itself. Being in this picturesque pocket, we don't have any through traffic and it is extremely quiet here during the day and most certainly at night. Of course you will have to put up with the sounds of nature and wildlife, like Kookaburra's, Maggies, Parrots and occasionally the grunting of a Koala or two. Wallabies are a common sight in our neighborhood during the night or early mornings. We are frequent campers ourselves and know how important a nice, clean and quiet camping spot is, and this is the reason we are offering our property to you; to have a peaceful stay. Our 10 m, 2m deep swimming pool is available to anyone during the warmer month, or just rest beside it enjoying reading your favorite book. We are open to caravans, RV's, Camper trailers, tents and roof tents or swags. We have a fully functional camp kitchen for your convenience with a small fridge, microwave, jug and coffee machine. BBQ and gas cooktop are also in the kitchen. A 1m square fire pit is a great place to enjoy the sunset and night for a chat and admire the tranquility of our beautiful area. You're welcome to use your own firepit as well, and firewood is available. The camp kitchen and a water tap in the grassy area are run off a bore, so not fit for drinking but you're welcome to use if for your daily needs or top up your build in toilet or internal shower. It is very clean water. It is recommended to bring your own drinking water, but should you run out, all the taps at the house are drinking water and can be used to refill your containers. A compost toilet building is available for you to use, but your cleanliness is appreciated to keep our facilities respectable at all times, especially if you're sharing the grounds. Dogs are welcome but must stay with you at all times. A 12m x 5 m secure enclosure is available for your pooches, should you need leave them behind while doing the shopping for example. Adult friendly, huge sites for big groups and plenty of space, great swimming and lots of things to here and in the surrounding areas. Some sites are more suited to Caravans as the access is better and some are better suited to campers / 4WD but all can be accessed with a regular car. We have NO road frontage so sites are private, quiet and safe and only 3ks off the New England Highway. All campers MUST bring their own Chemical toilet and shower facilities. A small rest room and shower is available in case of emergency only I run a working farm raising Sheep and Lambs, Chickens, Ducks, Horses, Donkeys, Vegies, Preserves and Jams. Farm produce is available on request and availability, eg Free range eggs , farm raised Lamb, locally sourced Bacon for the BBQ , and seasonal vegetables, jams and chutneys. Warwick Hosts the Biggest and Best Campdraft and Rodeo on the last full week of October (Covid permitting) as well as the quirky Jumpers and Jazz festival in July. Steam Train Journeys , half or full days, We have an amazing motor sport venue which holds meet every weekend, cars bikes, vintage, minis, Porsche's, you name it they race it every weekend. Also have firewood for sale. Unprecessed honey also available. Campfires permitted if restrictions aren't in place. Dogs permitted. Children are free. Kayaks are free. We have a very private campsite for clothing optional campers. There is also 6 powered sites back of the river. There is also showers and toilets near the powered sites . There are also 11 port a loos available for a cleaning fee. Please ensure you check our arrival directions before you come. Our place is easy to find, but we are farmers and always out working, so we probably won't be at the house when you arrive.

For those interested in exploring the park trails via horseback we can also provide secure lodgings for your horses, with quality hay available for purchase. Be as adventurous or as restfull as you please as both options are freely available. Mountain Biking, Hilking, Horse riding, or just riding your hammock and relaxing we are sure you will enjoy your time at "Mindoo" There is approximately 4km gravel road to get to the property. Mobile reception is patchy (telstra) you may need to get to the top of a hill for reception. Very little or no reception for other networks. Our aim is for your visit to be private so are spacing our sites . From Easter will no longer have undesignated river sites, all river sites will be designated and spaced a part. If you have a large group the Park One & the bend are large spaces. As most of our sites are on the river and have farm tracks to access, if it is wet we may have to move you to a different site. 4wds are recommended for all sites.
