We’re pet-friendly! Please note, however, that we are a working farm with ongoing activities and resident animals, including livestock and farm dogs, so all pets must be kept under control at all times. Aggressive, disruptive, or potentially dangerous dogs of any type are not allowed — especially restricted breeds (e.g. Pit Bulls, Bull Mastiffs). Only friendly dogs are permitted, and we reserve the right to ask you to leave if your dog is deemed unsafe or aggressive upon arrival. If you have any doubts, please message us prior to booking. Also, please ensure kids are supervised at all times, particularly around the river. Lifejackets are recommended. During your time here, visit the local farm gates in Tumut, Batlow, Tumbarumba, and Adelong for their delicious high-country produce. Option 2: From the Centenary Freeway roundabout, at ripley head 21 km along Ripley Road, which continues and changes name to Undullah Road. This route is 4x4 access is recommended with some narrow bends – please drive to conditions. Come camp along the beautiful Wilson River on a working cattle property. Shady, grassy campsites by a flowing river, just 25 minutes drive from Port Macquarie. Check in time is strictly prior to 7pm. There are only 2 sites available with power which is included in the site price. Check out our discount for single travelers and extras like eggs and firewood. Don't have a caravan, we have partnered up with Wrighty's Caravan Hire and Repairs. linktr.ee/wrightyscaravans. They offer family caravans delivered, setup ready for you to enjoy. Pets allowed but you must have on lead when walking around the property near cattle. Note a maximum of 2 dogs per camp site. Rules: 1. For the piece and quiet of other campers all check-ins must be before 4.30pm during the colder months. Check ins after 7pm may be turned away in busy times. 2. No Fireworks - this is very unsettling for our livestock 3. 9pm quiet time. 4. No drones in the camping area, for the privacy of other campers 5. Generators are allowed for short period of time but not permitted after 8pm. 6. Dogs on leads when walking around the farm - Limit of 2 dogs per camp site. We camped for 5 nights at a site called Jerrie's & it was very peaceful, couldn't even hear the neighbors. We were on the river edge & went kayaking & swimming, bit muddy but the water was nice to cool off in. Lindsay & his off-sider John are very nice folk who certainly look after you if need something. I absolutely recommend staying here.

Thank you Greg! We really enjoyed our stay. Greg gave us all the freedom in the world to choose our spot, and even mowed the grass for us. The portaloo nearby was always clean, and we were able to pick up lots of firewood for our campfire. Greg also supplied a bucket full for $20. Even though it was the week after Christmas, it felt like we had the place all to ourselves. Our sites were accessible by regular cars, but there are more remote spots available for 4x4s.

We (husband, 10m old baby, 2 dogs and friend) had a lovely 2 night stay over christmas. Was a little busy, but thankfully the site next to us left early so we had a lot of extra room which made the stay great. Our area was in the open field which didnt have a lot of shade though and got very windy at times (very windy and cold overnight). Great host, and the BBQ meat tray and breakfast pack were delicious. Clean toilets and showers are provided as well. We had bait worms delivered to us, and the local shops in town only a 10min drive away. Bit challenging to find our camp site at first, until we accidentally stumbled across the hosts house and he was able to arrange for us to he shown to our site. There are A LOT of flies at this time of the year so bring a fly trap, or netting.

We had a lovely long weekend camped beside the Condamine River. Unfortunately the wind picked up over the weekend, resulting in a quick repositioning of the caravan to act as a wind block, and preserve the awning. Thus loosing the straight on view of the river. This in no way put us off. We had a track down from our spot to an area that was good for fishing from. One large carp caught, too large for the gear, as with a flock of its head the line broke and it was free again (bugger). The dog loved the river, making it difficult for fishing. Plenty of fire pits and flat areas for tents, campers and vans. There were probably 6-8 groups and multiple people on these. I felt in no way crowded, as well spaced sites and well laid out. Toilets, showers and a dump point to round it out. Tracy and I will be back, a short journey, Brisbane to Warwick, plus the bonus of dog friendly, fire pits and dump point make it a must.

The property itself is lovely in a beautiful bush setting with lots of large grass sites, clean toilets and friendly staff who go out of their way to help you. Our campsite was for vehicles with a rooftop tent, however it wasn't flat and was more like a carpark bay to pull into along the road into the campground. It was very small with gravel and was about a quarter of the size of all other campsites on the property. We were disappointed - would come back but not choose this site & don't think it shouldn't be sold as a campsite at all.

We had a wonderful stay at Cooinda Retreats. It is a beautiful place with amazing views and a very peaceful atmosphere. The facilities are extremely well managed, with clean restrooms, drinking water available throughout, and a fully functional kitchen that made the stay very comfortable. Our hosts, Guy and Mel, were exceptional. They regularly checked in to make sure everything was okay and were genuinely welcoming and attentive without being intrusive. The location is also a big plus, being close to everything Victor Harbor has to offer. We would highly recommend Cooinda Retreats and will definitely be back.

The first this the wife said when we drove through the gate was, "this looks well maintained", and it was every camp area was nicely mowed all facilities were clean and stocked. Our hosts Brian and Tania (and the extended family we met) were amazing. Very friendly, accommodating and up for a chat. There is plenty of room for all types of camping to glamping. Will definitely be returning.

This is a wonderful campsite for people who can comfortably follow the rules—such as taking their rubbish home—and who are able to calmly talk to the hosts if any inconvenience arises. If that sounds like you, this is a great place to stay. There were many guests with dogs, and all of them looked relaxed and well behaved. We stayed at the Bushland area, sites 5A to 5C, which were mostly sandy. I recommend bringing sand pegs. I’m not sure about the ground conditions at other sites. Guy and Mel were excellent hosts. They always checked in on us and our children, and made us feel very welcome. If you keep walking along the boardwalk within the property, it connects to walking trails. The deck at the main hall has several picnic table sets and offers a great ocean view. There is a sandpit and a basketball court, and we saw children enjoying games like tennis and cricket. I saw another review mentioning that there are security cameras everywhere and that it made them unable to relax. Personally, I didn’t find the cameras bothersome at all. In fact, as we were staying with young children, the presence of cameras made us feel safer. The camp kitchen is equipped with: * Refrigerator and freezer * Two induction hot plates * Kettle * Toaster * Microwave * Sink with hot water * Large BBQ with side burner * Dishwashing liquid Please note that utensils, pots, pans, dishes, and cutlery are not provided, so you will need to bring your own.
