We offer a single camping spot for one group only, in a secluded 6-acre corner of our property in the Sunshine Coast hinterland, in the Conondale Range valley. Camping here, just beside the rainforest vegetation corridor along the Mary River, you're guaranteed privacy and peace. Price is $25 per person, per night with capacity for up to 10 people maximum. Children 5-12 years $5.00. We will meet and greet you. Campers need to be fully self-contained with their own camp toilet, and leave no footprints in our fragile and endangered rainforest ecosystem. Easy walks and bike riding along the riverbank and local roads or immerse in the serenity of the flora and fauna and kick back at night under the majestic sky. No pets permitted as we are a Land for Wildlife property. Campfires are permitted when local fire restrictions aren't in place. We can supply firewood for $15/bag. Access path into Conondale National Park is 1.5 km along the road from camp. Hinterland villages of Maleny, Kenilworth, Peachester and Beerwah within 30 min drive. Conondale village and the corner shop is 11 km away. Please be aware no mobile signal on property. House phone for emergencies. Caravans and camper trailers are unable to traverse Postmans Track route to Aherns Road.

An amazing view of the hills around Conondale with some large, picturesque, old growth gum trees with character. A firepit is provided for your use. Firewood can be purchased on-site. You will need to be self contained as no toilet facilities or drinking water are provided. Situated on quiet road in a rural setting 5 minute drive to Lake Cootharaba/ Boreen Point. Noosa Heads is approximately 25 minutes and 20 minutes to Pomona. Tent site and RV/campervan site on grassed area with power and water available. Under cover parking for campervan or tent setup is an option alongside the living area and amenities. Facilities include equipped kitchen with large fridge/freezer, gas stove/oven, benchtop convection oven, kettle, toaster and all cooking utensils as well as plates, cutlery, glasses, etc. Bathroom with hot shower and a bathtub for parents with children. As we are on tank rainwater, we request that guests conserve water usage. Compost toilet is accessible up a few stairs. There is a laundry area with washing machine and tumble dryer for your convenience. There is wildlife around like kangaroos, wallabies, echidna and many bird species so no pets are permitted on the property. Fires are permitted in the designated Firepit provided. This has been a highlight for guests so far. For your convenience we have bags of firewood for you to use. A contribution for usage will be appreciated or bring your own. Guests are asked to respect the quiet environment. We’d appreciate no loud music or voices from 10pm to 7am. There is a neighbouring property behind the shed and our bedroom is within range! When you book you are booking the entire camp facility. It is yours to enjoy, relax, unwind, or catch up on some rest. Please advise ETA so we can greet you on arrival and show you to your campsite. It's best to arrive before sunset to select your camp spot and set up and to enjoy the sunset views! Private land with resident owners in main house situated approximately 100m from camp site. Owners maintain permaculture gardens for self sufficiency in fruit and vegetables. Mobile phone reception is patchy but internet via WiFi is available.

Nearby Lake Weyba is a popular destination for windsurfers, kite surfers and catamarans and the Noosa River is popular for fishing with many more offshores options nearby as well. For those who enjoy a bike ride there are access roads or forest trails from Lily Pad, or drive a few kms to find suitable terrain. We encourage guests to come and enjoy the wildlife that visit the cottage so unfortunately we cannot allow pets. Also the cottage and surrounds are not safe or suitable for little people: those aged under seven years.

There is a fire pit available for campers to relax around in the evening but you will need bring along your own firewood. We can also organize music night/day (eg karaoke) for willing participants. CAMPERS: require all visitors to be self contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. Pets are welcome but must be kept on a leash while on the property.
