Kenilworth Rural Camping is a quiet, family friendly private camping area in the heart of Kenilworth, in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. Adjacent to the Charles Street Mary River parklands, this 5 acre block has beautiful drive through, flat grassy sites. Shady or open spaces with a seasonal water hole on the property, 150mtrs from the Mary River, through the park or a 5 minute walk to town (600mtrs to the pub!). We have 5 camping sites, each suitable to any size caravans, campers, tents etc. Each site has the capacity to fit 3 caravans or equivalent and up to 10 guests. Fire pits at all sites. Please note we do not have amenities or drinking water and that you need to be self-sufficient with your own toilet/shower set up and bring everything you need with you and take out ALL waste. Please do not book if you do not have your own toilet. Please , nothing is to be burnt in the firepits other than firewood. No glass bottles or can's at all. Dogs must be on a leash at ALL times and must be cleaned up after. Family Group bookings welcome! Strictly no party groups. *All guests must be added to the booking request. Children under 12 are free but please ensure you include them in with the booking request. *The Mary River, and the water hole water levels are determined on rain fall.*

Site 3 was a really good site
Well kept grassy campsite. Plenty of shade frome the huge trees on the property. Shane is an excellent host, checking up to see how things are going. To get to the river walk straight throughthe adjacent reserve fence looking for a wide track down to a sandy beach ideal for swimming.

Picture perfect location
Thank you Shane for a lovely stay. Your property is picture perfect and you keep it immaculate. We enjoyed the fact that the sites are far apart allowing plenty of space to spread out and have privacy. Our proximity to the river was a bonus - just a short walk - and you can walk to the main street of town in less than 5 minutes. Shane you are very responsive and easy to communicate with and we look forward to staying with you again. Our neighbours are regular guests with you and we expect you'll see all 4 of us together soon. Cheers!

Good check-in instructions from Shane, easy to find location and our site. It was a great location, on our own. Just 5 minute walk to town or to the Mary river.
