The cabin is situated privately on our hobby farm with the company of cows, chickens, dogs and ponies, dogs are permitted upon request. The cabin is cosy and self contained, it is a single bedroom, single bathroom, with walk in shower, toilet and filtered drinking water at the vanity sink. It also has a convenient kettle, toaster and BBQ area, the cabin has a queen bed but we can include a mattress for the floor for children, tents and caravans are also welcome in the guest paddocks. Guests are welcome to feed the chickens, ponies and cows, and collect the eggs from the chicken barn. Enjoy the serenity and silence of the country with a fire in the extra large fire pit!

We have many panoramic campsites for you to choose from. These are suited to any one with the swag, tent, camper, caravan or motorhome. You need to be self sufficient. For those liking the comforts of home we have a bunkhouse which sleeps 10 and has electricity, water, flush toilet, shower, stove, microwave and TV. Linen is not supplied. If you are driving 2wd, or 4wd towing a caravan or a big trailer and GPS takes you through Mountain View rd., do not go that way, go through Dayboro rd. For those without transport Dakabin train station is 25 min from the farm. Pick up and drop off to the station can be arranged. There is a wide variety of shops and restaurants less than 10 min away.

The starting point for the walk is the Settlement Campground at Purlingbrook Falls. The walk is a 54-kilometre trek through the beautiful Springbrook rainforest. You can do a much smaller distance if you prefer and still take in the great views and tranquillity of the rainforest. Pack your walking shoes, a hat and drink bottle and enjoy. See the birds, hear them chirping, be amazed at the beautiful historic trees. "Murphy's" is a newly renovated three bedroom cottage which was once part of Tamrookum Homestead built by Robert Collins and family in the 1860s. There’s a table with chairs to enjoy your breakfast or dinner outside.The cute loft bedroom has a queen bed, and a double foldout sofa bed is available on ground level. There’s reverse cycle air conditioning to keep you comfortable. The kitchen is self contained with a small microwave/oven, a 60 cm ceramic cooktop, a medium size fridge/freezer, a toaster and kettle. The lounge has a 40 cm smart TV with DVD player, table and chairs. There’s a small firepit and chairs in the yard to enjoy the sun setting over the mountains and stars at night. The cabin is a few minutes drive on the property to the creek where there is a resident platypus and a picnic table for cabin guests. "Murphy's" is a newly renovated three bedroom cottage which was once part of Tamrookum Homestead built by Robert Collins and family in the 1860s. In 2020 the Murphy family of Rob, Libby, Ben and Cameron, still living on the property in the current homestead across the road, decided to renovate the cottage.
