Do you want to break free from life's constraints? Feel like getting back to nature but not too keen on sharing it with fifty other campers, their yapping dogs and their terrible taste in music. Then pack your swag and head to "Larapinta" in the heart of the Scenic Rim where the crackling of your campfire is all you'll hear.. The picture postcard views from the Jinbroken Range are all here awaiting your gaze from your own private camp-site. There are only 12 sites, all a few hundred metres from each other, linked by 4WD tracks spread over 540ac 500 year old Grasstrees are waiting to greet those who prefer the feel of the earth under their feet and can be found as you meander along the km's of cattle tracks. So book your secluded spot now for a taste of authentic camping Larapinta style. Oh and btw if you love bush camping but don't want to become a bush pig we have a hot shower & flushing toilet just for you. Site 2 Plateau - 4wd
The view from The Plateau site was heavenly & we really appreciated the seclusion. There was a handy portaloo a short walk away. The Stable shower was unique and a very refreshing on a hot day. I loved the birdsong and kangaroos! Don’t underestimate the warning about the steep tracks and especially the warning about how slippery they get in the rain.

Beautiful site overlooking the valley. Loads of birds and wildlife. Cameron a great host and really has put together an amazing set up for those that like some privacy and the great outdoors. Good facilities and the shower shed on a hot day is a must! You will need 4wd and heed the warnings about how slippery it can get in the rain.

Camping with animals
This was the perfect getaway! The host was fantastic, always available for questions and very knowledgeable about the area. The place was cozy and clean, making it a great spot to unwind after a day of exploring. I can't recommend this host enough for anyone looking for a memorable stay.

A blissful escape to the country
The facilities at this campsite are truly outstanding, providing everything needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Cameron, our host, went above and beyond to ensure we had an exceptional experience. His warm and friendly demeanor, coupled with his helpfulness, made us feel incredibly welcome. The campsite itself offers breathtaking views and is thoughtfully designed, with each site spaced far enough apart to provide complete privacy—you won’t see another soul from your own spot. The area is teeming with wildlife and adorned with stunning botanical beauty, making it a nature lover’s paradise. We will undoubtedly return to this remarkable location in the future!!

Penthouse with an Outhouse - 4wd
This place is not just a campsite, it’s an experience & I would recommend this place again & again. My partner and I had such a great time looking at the views from the bath tub, sat by the fire, or under the structure that was really appreciated. I have never seen a place like this. Thanks so much for a beautiful stay.
