Additionally, we are neighbours with Barramundi Adventures Darwin, the famous land-based fishing spot in Darwin (plus they have a bar within stumbling distance). Our campsite features ample privacy with spacious sites surrounded by natural bush, perfect for star gazing and bush walking. Each site is equipped with a sprinkler system to keep the dust at bay and a water tank for cleaning, drinking, and showering. Rest assured, your campsite is secure behind a coded pad-locked gate in a very safe region, allowing you to explore the surrounding tourist attractions worry-free, if you need to leave your belongings/van/trailer while you go on your adventure. Come and experience the beauty and serenity of Berry Springs Bush Retreat – your perfect getaway in the Northern Territory. We have three camping sites, one for tents and two for caravans/motorhomes/campertrailers. Campsites 1 and 2 are both are tucked into the bush and very private. Campsite 3 is the last on the road so is still private, but has a shallow bush round-about/pull through to camp in. Perfect for quick stop or terrible reversers :-) We are pet friendly too, but there is plenty of livestock nearby, so keeping your pet with you at all times is recommended. Jean & John's Bynoe Stopover

The property is 40 acres of carefully maintained virgin rainforest. Our flora and fauna are exactly the same as nearby Litchfield National Park, unfortunately without any waterfalls. We have cleared about 10 acres of undergrowth leaving the trees for shade. Animals and other wildlife are abundant with the lilly pond on our front lawn being the only permanent water other than the Finniss River that they have in the area. We have hundreds of wallabies, goannas, frill necked lizards and plenty of bird life. Our pet Red Tailed Black Cockatoo "Butt" attracts the local wild ones, because she is happy they trust us so you can get closer to them than usual for photos. We have toilets and showers set up for our annual fishing competition which we hold for charity each Queens Birthday weekend. There is also a large wood fired BBQ in the same central area. The fish filleting table and boat cleaning area is also nearby. The local kites and other raptors including sea eagles and if you are lucky may see a wedgetailed eagle come in for fish scraps. Croc and dingo area - be aware!
