Includes drop toilet (BYO toilet paper) and plenty of firewood so please don't cut down trees. 2WD access and access for caravans, camper trailers, camper vans. Wouldn't recommend for large motorhomes. Campfires permitted in designated areas, help yourself to the firewood (for use on property only). Also bring your own drinking water but there is non-drinking water available. There's lots of native wildlife on the property so dogs by request only as I want to keep them both safe. There are two shelter areas near the shed & container you can use. Bungonia National Park and Marulan Township are well worth a look.

The campsites are shared with kangaroos, wallabies, wombats, deer, and of course turtles and fish in the river. Fish or swim in the river, ride your bikes, or set up camp and then head off on an adventure walk including the Blue Mountains National Park to the south of the river. The Abercrombie River is known for gold and gemstones, so if you're into panning, there's some good spots along the river. There are plenty of opportunities for 4WDing and bushwalking in the local area. Fires are allowed (fire restrictions permitting) within the designated areas. Wood can be collected from fallen wood around the property, or bring your own if you prefer. Pets are welcome for a one-off fee per animal. We are in the early stages of our Hipcamp journey and there are plans to make for a much more enjoyable experience. All monies will be re-invested into facilities. There is no mobile reception at this location. There are no toilets at this location (yet). Perched on the ridge with spectacular views, our farm promises a true escape. Located 25 minutes from the beautiful village of Taralga, ours is a spot to unwind. With a large campsite, you can fit several large tents. When permitted, there’s a great campfire set up with a grill ready to go. Please bring a back up gas cooker in case of fire ban. There are no toilet facilities or fresh water, so you will need to come prepared. Access is via a steep dirt road. At night, the skies are majestic, and the sunrise and sunsets are spectacular. Lots of wildlife including kangaroos, wombats, wallabies, owls, eagles, hawks, goats, deer, and the occasional reptile! Taralga is home to the Grand Ettie cafe, the Argyle Inn, pub, general store and more. The famous Laggan Pub is 25 minutes and Crookwell just a bit past that. The grass has been cut back for safety. A couple of tables and 6 chairs are provided on site.
