You'll be peacefully isolated from the world at this 100 acre property with the most stunning clifftop views across the Nattai National Park to the Blue Mountains and Warragamba dam. Catch magnificent sunsets from our 'sunset rock' and wake to Kangaroos and beautiful bird life as well as the extraordinary call of our resident Lyrebirds. Oakwood is located 25 minutes from Mittagong and Berrima with all that the Southern Highlands has to offer and 30 minutes to the beautiful Wollondilly River at Goodman's Ford. It's on a windy dirt road with very little traffic - a true escape to paradise. You can pitch a tent next to our log seat and fire spot with stunning views over the National Park & Blue Mountains. It's a flat open field with complete privacy. Our sunset rock is a 5 minute walk through light bush with the best sunsets in the Southern Highlands. There's a tank with rain water nearby. You'll love the visit from the kangaroos in the morning and the sounds of the lyrebirds.

Oakwood Blue Mountain Views
We enjoyed our stay at Oakwood. The views of the distant escarpments and valleys were incredible and it was very quiet and peaceful. There was a nice flat grassy spot directly behind the fire pit area (no fire wood supplied) to pitch our tent. The spot is very exposed though and we found it windy during the day & evening for the majority of our 3 night stay. We didn't get to meet the hosts as they appeared to be away.

Amazing views!!! Sitting perched ontop of the world the views at this camp site where amazing! Lovely wildlife all around and the walk out to sunset rock was only topped by the view there. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to get away to a quiet camping spot with brilliant views of the landscape and Milky Way.

This was a stunning place for an incredible camping trip. The hosts were genuinely so lovely, showed us the nearby trails and bush walks, and it was a gorgeous view. Thank you!
