    Aberdeen is an organic farm that is home to the artisan flour mill Woodstock Flour. Situated in the Rutherglen wine region, Aberdeen farm borders the beautiful Black Dog Creek and is a five minute drive from wineries and restaurants. Guests are welcome to a tour of the flour mill and farm with the owners Ian and Courtney. You can take home a bag of freshly milled flour or a rack of organic lamb from the farm to cook over the fire. We offer a private and large, grassy and level site that borders Black Dog Creek and is surrounded by majestic redgums. We do not offer facilities, so all campers must be self-contained with their own camp toilet, and take all their waste when they leave. We are 10 minutes from the Hume Fwy and just over five minutes from Rutherglen and surrounding wineries. There are a number of rail trails around Rutherglen and Chiltern-Mt Pilot National Park is a 25-minute drive for bushwalking. Lake Moodemere and the Murray River are 15-30 minutes away for swimming, boating and fishing.

    We are situated smack bang in the middle of cropping land. Our 20 acres is developed and we boast a pool, spa, sauna and “man cave”. Horses are welcome at a nominal extra cost, but certainly welcome. The shed or man cave boasts hot and cold water and basic shower and toilet by arrangement ( you must be self sufficient campers) The bar is semi functional with an approach that anything in the shed is yours but replace what you have used. The shed has a good TV and fire which makes for fun times watching your team play It is a shed and would be best described as rough rustic but comfortable with a wood fire and rustic bar and comfortable lounge. The pool is clean and situated in a big yard in front of your camp. There is enough space for your camp set up and tow vehicle. Power is available to re charge by arrangement with the host. This camp suits the self sufficient campers for a couple of days or a stop over for the weary. Bundalong hosts horse events and of course is a skiing and fishing Mecca. Bundalong Tavern, Squires Winery and Watts in Bundalong are exceptional locations who cater for all tastes in food, craft, beer, and wine. Fires are encouraged within the law with some wood available at a minor cost. Fire pits are not provided at this stage. Campers are a short drive from Yarrawonga, Mulwala and Cobram. And an easy drive from Corowa, Rutherglen or an hours drive to the King Valley. We suggest Google these sites and plan your activities according to age, interests and taste.

Just a half an hour drive from Wangaratta, 45 minutes from Benalla and an hour from Mansfield. Each site offers something a little different whether it is a spacious site for a large group or party or a smaller site for a family weekend away. Our site is accessible for all vehicle types and is dog-friendly as long as pets are well-controlled. Campfires are allowed when restrictions aren’t in place, and firewood and kindling is available for purchase (see Extras). Please keep in mind that the property is a working farm and there will be cars and machinery onsite nearby to some of the sites. Each powered site has only 1 power supply.     Kielock Homestead is a unique farm stay experience located centrally in the beautiful Kiewa Valley Victoria where you can camp right on the bank of the Kiewa River. Some of the activities available include fishing, swimming, bush walking, bird and animal watching and bike riding. If you choose you can join in on farm activities such as feeding the animals,  collecting eggs and planting/harvesting fruit and vegetables. We have a small market garden available where you can pick and purchase seasonal fresh produce, alternatively vegetable boxes and eggs are available by arrangement and delivered right to your campsite. Within the 200 acres of the property you will find it is home to many animals including kangaroos wombats platypus possums, bats and many bird and marine species. The main fish in the river are  trout and cod so if you would like to try your luck fishing this is the place for you.Some of the surrounding towns include Mt Beauty (20 mins), Yackandandah (30 mins), Bright (50 mins), Beechworth (50 mins) Falls Creek (60 mins) with the border towns of Albury and Wodonga only 50 mins away. These beautiful towns contain an array of boutique wineries, craft breweries, bakeries and cafes, or you can choose to follow a farm gate food trail.The area also provides opportunities to go horse-riding, bike riding on one of the many rail trails or be adventurous on the mountain bike tracks at Falls Creek in the warmer months with snow sports in winter. The surrounding mountain ranges offer numerous famous 4wd trails or you might like to try your hand at panning for gold.This is a working farm and our animals are our family. They are very friendly but only know us and not you so please do not enter their homes without us, but feel free to talk to them over the gates. Be aware that all fences are electric and are switched on at all times. There is a dedicated communal campfire area for use when fire restrictions permit and we request that no additional fire pits are created during your stay. As this is a working property we are unable to accommodate your pets.     Only 3 large campsites! Great for family groups and friends, lots of room. Kids under 5 stay free, pet friendly. North East Vic is a tourist mecca, with food and wine, lakes and rivers, cycling and markets, mountains and waterfalls. - We are only 2 and half hours from Melbourne and 20 mins off Hume Fwy, via Wangaratta. Please read the whole listing, lots to tell you about us. Campsites 1 is large and can accommodate two vans and 2 - 3 tents (or 14 -16 people). Campsites 2 and 3 are smaller and more suited to one van with 1 - 2 tents (or 4 - 6 people). Ample car parking. Campsites are 110m apart with a light screen of trees in between, no crowds here. Accessed via 3.5km of rough dirt track - not recommended for low vehicles or low towing vans. The track is rough BUT easily driven by all vehicles - just drive slowly. Dogs welcome, firewood is easily gathered by you, and often in piles by your campsite. Campsites are NOT near water. They are near a dry gully, with an **** unfenced dam.**** We have a beautiful swimming hole at the property entrance, in Boggy Creek. Guests are welcome to enjoy the shaded lawn area, BBQ and pot belly fire. The creek is 3kms from the campsites. Near The Hut is the gate to take a walk up to Sugar Loaf (500m return), where you can see amazing grass trees and place a rock on the cairn. Look for the wallabies that live up there. Stay with us to get away from crowded campsites, to enjoy a quieter holiday, while being close to a great tourist district. The King Valley showcases wineries, gourmet food, eateries, restaurants, pubs, brewery, even a gin distillery. We are surrounded by creeks, rivers and lakes, with many fishing, swimming and kayaking options - all within a 30 minute drive! Take a walk to the top of Sugar Loaf, and see unique grass trees on this rocky hill, while catching sight of Mount Buffalo. 8kms to Moyhu which has a pub, coffee shop, general store - all with great food options. You can get petrol, take away, gas etc.

    Our property is located on a 10-acre block on the banks of the Murray River. We are approximately 3km from the town centre but have a private and secluded feel with no close neighbours. A peaceful base camp to retreat back to after exploring the region. Nestled on the river bank, among the gum trees and pines, are beautiful shady, camping spots, welcoming self-contained campers, with plenty of room for you to set up comfortably. A stone's throw from camp you'll find a great place to fish for Murray Cod and crays, a spot from which to launch your canoes or paddle boards, the bank is quite steep and you can access using a ladder which is shown in photos. There is access to many wonderful cycling tracks and rail trails in the area. There is a corner shop within walking distance, and great cafes and restaurants close by. Corowa Chocolate and Whisky Factory Museum, Golf Club, RSL and cinema. With the wineries of Wahgunyah and Rutherglen just over the bridge! There are sunny and shady spots but sun cannot be guaranteed all day so please bring a generator or hire ours if you need extra power.
