Natural bushland consisting of 80 acres with the Crudine River along the boundary. We are part of the Sofala gold rush history (from the 1850s), sit back and imagine gold miners and their families camped along the banks. There are two campsites, Camp Crudine Kitchen and Camp Crudine Riverside. When you make your booking whether for 2 people or a group of family and friends the chosen campsite is all yours for the length of your stay. If you need supplies Sofala is just 8 km away, drop in and explore the town. Hill End is 28 km which is another Historic town to explore. Camp Crudine is great for kids and adults alike to have a go at panning for gold or try out the metal detector. All findings must be returned to the host, lol. Campfires must comply with the local fire restrictions and guideline and must be contained in the fire pits provided. Bonfires are not permitted at any time. We recommend campers bring their own firewood as campers are requested to source only small amounts of firewood along the riverbank. Under no circumstances are trees to be cut down. Firewood is available at the Sofala General Store. Campers are required to bring everything they need and take all rubbish when leaving. Dogs are welcome but they must be supervised and under control at all times. The owner has livestock on the property which must be respected at all times.

If you want to get away from it all and relax in a secluded Campsite surrounded by beautiful Native Bushland or explore miles of trails, gullies, caves, Flight Springs Creek and the exquisite Bow River, take some time to camp at Hillside, which is a remote 2000 acre working cattle property situated 23km west of MERRIWA, 14 km off the Golden Highway, adjoining the Goulburn River National Park. All sites are in secluded area's far away from each other but at busy times people may pass by some sites to access the river. There are plenty of walking trails and for the enthusiastic bushwalker, the Bow River winds its way 7km down to the Goulburn River through the National Park with its gentle flowing stream and rock pools nestled between sandstone cliffs of caves with open area's. All sites are pet friendly, but pets must be kept on leash and cleaned up after. Note: The National Park holds their annual wild dog baiting program from 20/5/24 - 8/10/24 Which is done along our boundary on Bow River. It is safer not to have your dog in this area at this time. If you decide to, make sure it is kept on leash at all times and doesn't eat anything that could be laying around. Campfires are allowed when there are no restrictions and campers can collect their own small firewood. Cut firewood is available for $10 per/large bundle, cash only. There is an abundance of wildlife; Kangaroos, Wallabies, Wombats, Foxes, Emu's, Goanna's, Lizards, Snakes, Echidna's, water Dragons, Turtles, Fish, Eagles and plenty of Birds to see. 4WD and High vehicles are recommended as tracks have rocky outcrops and some areas of loose sand. It is ideal for people who will be travelling back and forwards from the property to attend other events. It can also be set up as a communal campground for large groups. There are plenty of trails for Horse Riding (you will need to provide your own temporary fencing). Guests are required to be fully self-contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. Some Campsites now have toilets. At certain times some sites may be unavailable due to Cattle grazing in the same paddock. Cows are very curious and can be destructive to your vehicle and belongings. Phone Service is very limited in this area. If you email a request, it may take a few hours for us to reply. WARNING: There are many areas of cliff edges and shear drops! Although you may have a visit from the resident sheep who graze the pastures (don't worry - they are friendly). A perfect place for bird watching an array of native birds including rosellas, cockatoos, and currawongs and you will hear the kookaburras every morning and evening. There are also kangaroos, wallabies and echidnas who roam the area. It's a beautiful place to snap a pic especially if you catch the morning sunrises and spectacular sunsets which are guaranteed to wow you. Do as little or as much as you want to on your stay. A perfect place to just unwind and take in the fresh country air and beautiful views. Stroll around the property and visit the old barn and some of the sheds and farming equipment that are scattered among the paddocks. Dunedoo Campsite + Self Contained Cabin

Stay in our small town of Dunedoo and experience famous country hospitality. We have a large block offering simple backyard camping, conveniently close to town. Dunedoo is on the newly formed Central West Cycle trail. Why not stop in here for a night on your way through? If you don't have room on your bike for a tent, hire one of ours and we'll set it up for you! We're also on the Silo Art Trail - so a great place for photographers and art enthusiasts! We have a flat, grassy lawn to pitch your tent or small caravan/camper. There is access to power if needed. We also have a fire pit you are welcome to use when not in fire restriction periods. Firewood can be made available by pre-arrangement. We also offer a self-contained cabin known as "The Caddy Shack." We only ever take guests for either the Caddy Shack or the camping, never both unless you are all part of the same group. There's an outside toilet and shower beside the cabin. We are within walking distance to the town centre, and also close to the golf course, tennis court and sporting amenities. No dogs, please.

The ultimate Farm Solitude Camping experience. If you want to get away from it all and relax in a secluded Campsite surrounded by beautiful Native Bushland or explore miles of trails, gullies, caves, Flight Springs Creek and the exquisite Bow River, take some time to camp at Hillside, which is a remote 2000 acre working cattle property situated 23km west of MERRIWA, 14 km off the Golden Highway, adjoining the Goulburn River National Park. All sites are in secluded area's far away from each other but at busy times people may pass by some sites to access the river. There are plenty of walking trails and for the enthusiastic bushwalker, the Bow River winds its way 7km down to the Goulburn River through the National Park with its gentle flowing stream and rock pools nestled between sandstone cliffs of caves with open area's. All sites are pet friendly, but pets must be kept on leash and cleaned up after. Note: The National Park holds their annual wild dog baiting program from 20/5/24 - 8/10/24 Which is done along our boundary on Bow River. It is safer not to have your dog in this area at this time. If you decide to, make sure it is kept on leash at all times and doesn't eat anything that could be laying around. Campfires are allowed when there are no restrictions and campers can collect their own small firewood. Cut firewood is available for $10 per/large bundle, cash only. There is an abundance of wildlife; Kangaroos, Wallabies, Wombats, Foxes, Emu's, Goanna's, Lizards, Snakes, Echidna's, water Dragons, Turtles, Fish, Eagles and plenty of Birds to see. 4WD and High vehicles are recommended as tracks have rocky outcrops and some areas of loose sand. The Bow River area is strictly 4WD access as it is steep with loose gravel. New for Hipcampers and opening soon are our Outback 4WD Tracks. Explore around 20km of tracks with something for everyone from the first timer to the very experienced driver. "Gully View Campsite" is the closest site to the property entrance. It is ideal for people who will be travelling back and forwards from the property to attend other events. It is also ideal for those travelling in groups who want to be together but to also have their own private space to set up in for some time-out. It can also be set up as a communal campground for large groups. There are plenty of trails for Horse Riding (you will need to provide your own temporary fencing). Guests are required to be fully self-contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. Some Campsites now have toilets. At certain times some sites may be unavailable due to Cattle grazing in the same paddock. Cows are very curious and can be destructive to your vehicle and belongings. Phone Service is very limited in this area. If you email a request, it may take a few hours for us to reply. WARNING: There are many areas of cliff edges and shear drops! Children must be supervised at all times while exploring these areas. There are also dams at or near some of the campsite areas that could be dangerous if children wander off exploring alone. Note: In wet weather some sites will be unavailable and in extremely wet weather the property is inaccessible. Please check before booking.

Located approximately 40 mins from Bathurst the camp is the ideal location to enjoy the tranquility of the bush. 4WD access ONLY Suitable for off-road camper trailers, tents and swags. Natural bushland consisting of 80 acres with the Crudine River along the boundary. We are part of the Sofala gold rush history (from the 1850s), sit back and imagine gold miners and their families camped along the banks. There are two campsites, Camp Crudine Kitchen and Camp Crudine Riverside. When you make your booking whether for 2 people or a group of family and friends the chosen campsite is all yours for the length of your stay. If you need supplies Sofala is just 8 km away, drop in and explore the town. Hill End is 28 km which is another Historic town to explore. Camp Crudine is great for kids and adults alike to have a go at panning for gold or try out the metal detector. All findings must be returned to the host, lol. Campfires must comply with the local fire restrictions and guideline and must be contained in the fire pits provided. Bonfires are not permitted at any time. We recommend campers bring their own firewood as campers are requested to source only small amounts of firewood along the riverbank. Under no circumstances are trees to be cut down. Firewood is available at the Sofala General Store. Campers are required to bring everything they need and take all rubbish when leaving. Dogs are welcome but they must be supervised and under control at all times. The owner has livestock on the property which must be respected at all times.
