Roagumba, or Roa for short, is our 920 acre patch of paradise in the stunning Yowrie Valley on the NSW Far South Coast. Roa is a family owned working cattle farm, made up of approximately 60% cleared land and the rest native bushland. The Yowrie Valley is surrounded by the beautiful Wadbilliga National Park, giving it a sense of remote seculsion whilst being only a 15 minute drive from the township of Cobargo. The valley is a 35 minute drive to the stunning beaches near Bermagui, whilst the historic and quirky town of Tilba is 40 minutes away. The crystal clear Yowrie River flows along the western side of the property with numerous secluded swimming holes. The property is a working cattle farm so you're likely to meet some very friendly cows during your stay, as well as a lot of native wildlife such as kangaroos, wombats and birds. We operate three Hipcamp sites and two different locations on the property. Mountain Camp is a single site and offers complete seclusion and privacy, while River Camp is a double site and offers views across the valley whilst only being metres from the river. Both locations have composting toilets and Mountain Camp has an additional undercover camp kitchen. We cater for small groups and families who are seeking a quiet, peaceful escape. Our sites are small and are capped at 6 people each, per night. To reduce vehicle traffic, protect our farms biosecurity and out of respect to our neighbours, there is a maximum of 2 vehicles allowed per site.

The farm covers some 600+ acres, mostly untouched bushland. We have over 50 head of cattle, several Clydesdales, a donkey, chooks, peacocks, guinea fowl, rabbits, and more. You are welcome to explore the paddocks and the bushland and meet and greet our animal residents. Dogs are welcome, so long as they're kept under control, and restrained at night. There is a large shared swimming pool guests are welcome to use. Campfires are permitted in the designated fire pits, or you are welcome to bring your own fire pit that is elevated off the ground. All campers must be completely self-contained, with their own camp toilet, and take all waste when they go. The original name of this property is Wooraba which is an aboriginal word for 'hidden' which describes it very well. Here, you will immerse yourself in the Australian bush and enjoy a truly peaceful retreat. Enjoy fantastic bushwalks amongst the native flora and fauna, or take your mountain bike to the high open hilly area to check out the expansive views. Or lay in some of the creek's rock pools and sunbathe. Whilst we can accept dogs, this absolutely must be discussed with us prior to booking. We are a working farm, with sheep, and it is important that any visiting pets do not hassle our sheep, and are kept on a lead at all times. Campfires are permitted in the designated fire pit when conditions allow and no local fire bans are in play.

We enjoyed our 3 night stay on Spring Creek Farm. Bill was a great host and guided us to our site on arrival. Peaceful spot with panoramic views of the country side, out in the open but private. Lots of firewood around and we caught a glimpse of the resident wombat.

We loved being off the beaten track at Bill’s hipcamp site! The nature is stunning, we saw wedge-tail eagles, king parrots, cockatoos, kangaroos and lots of wombat burrows, unfortunately didn’t get the chance to go spotlighting at night to see a wombat due to the weather being surprisingly cold and windy. Next time we will bring warmer clothes in summer! The waterfall near upper creekside site is stunning, would be great to come after a big downpour. The sheep were very vocal but we loved the sounds! All round a great stay.

An amazing place to camp overall. We were greeted by Bill and taken to a site sheltered from the strong winds. We got woken up by sheep as they were passing by in the mornings - they would get super close and were nice little friends to have around. The site was very private and isolated itself. There was some phone reception - just enough to send a quick text message. You get lots of space on this one all to yourself. We had a great time. Thank you Bill & family.

Great campsite! Greeted by host and shown to our site, beautiful panoramic views. Thunderstorm rolled in as we arrived, which added to the excitement. Great creek close by to cool off in on a hot day. Excellent for overnight escape from Canberra. Good solid firewood was provided as well, which kept us going the whole night. Well recommended.

Lovely, secluded, peaceful and private spot. Loads of space and nice and flat. Feels like the middle of nowhere but only 5 mins from the cute little town of Mogo. I was a bit hesitant taking my Coaster down the track to the site. But hey the site description did say 4WD might be best! The good news is I got down - and back out! - totally fine. Hot tip for a bus - use first gear all the way, take it nice and slow and it's a piece of cake! Naomi and Wozza were easy to deal with and helpful. Great little spot all round.

Do-Little Farm was a beautiful place to camp. The clearing is private, with lovely trees surrounding it. Brilliantly level and enough space between other campers. Naomi and Wazza are delightful hosts, they really ensure you have everything you might need. It’s within walking distance from Mogo, which is really convenient. It does mean you can hear holiday makers drive past. All in all - lovely camp site! Very dog friendly too.
