The original Eurobodalla town has beaches, bushwalks, and a natural island getaway.
With the Tomaga River and Batemans Bay to the north and the Moruya and Tuross Rivers to the south, Broulee was the original settlement in the Eurobodalla region of the NSW South Coast. Today, Broulee’s biggest claim to fame is the Broulee Island Nature Reserve, which is reached via a scenic sandspit walkway and forms part of the vast coastal Eurobodalla National Park. Once you’ve explored the island, head to Broulee Beach to swim, surf, and stand-up paddleboard; rent a kayak to paddle the waterways; or go snorkelling and scuba diving. When it comes to camping, there are plenty of options both in and around Broulee. Snag a spot at a rural Hipcamp, choose from simple tent sites or large motorhome campsites in the national park, or check into a holiday park or caravan park for powered sites and amenities such as a camp kitchen, children’s playgrounds, and a swimming pool.
