We stayed at camp-site 2 and it was amazing! What a beautiful property 😍 the creek was right next to the camp and we could watch the kids play while making lunch/dinner. Dean went out of his way to prepare the golf course for us and lend us clubs/balls and the course was much more involved than we expected! Ganelle delivered us fresh eggs for breakfast and both were all around super happy and accommodating owners. Out of 10 all 5 families we went with rate this property a 10😄

Special place. Quiet, huge space, grassed area like your backyard, plenty of access to solar and shade & fresh water creek. Portable immaculately clean portaloo brought to site, generous amount of free firewood on the first night, and great hosts. If you like the quiet peaceful sites, get yourself out there, only 20’ from the Bruce along good roads. One of the very best camps you’ll ever find.

Fab stay @ Waverley Homestead, would highly recommend. We were lucky enough to have the entire place to ourselves, which made it very special - so quiet, and with stunning views over the paddocks, looking towards the distant mountains. Great for individual campers who like company, but would also be perfect for a small group of friends, as the campfire in the middle makes it great for socializing. Really enjoyed the company of Mikey - resident dog - who is such a sweetheart and hung with us until Gav came home to reclaim him. Gav is lovely - popped down to make sure we had all we needed, and we had a good chat, then he left us to enjoy the solitude. Awesome sunset, and although it was a super hot day, it gradually cooled down and we were able to have a wee campfire, which was magical. Stars were spectacular throughout the night and birdlife lovely to watch in the trees. Plenty of shade for us in our van and flat ground to park up on. Thanks for sharing your lovely land with us Gav & Andria, we'll be back. Melissa & Michael

Secluded campsite completely to yourself just by the creek. The fields & golf green were so well maintained you would think it was a professional golf club. This spot was so special to us as we got engaged! Can’t wait to come back Oh! And free eggs and honey as soon as you arrive from their hens and bees! What more could you ask for?

Absolutely stunning sunset views and nice and secluded. Took the advantage of the total fire ban and went to the bun pub for dinner. Awesome old pub with $25 steak night on Thursday nights. Very relaxing atmosphere with the sound of cows all around. Also a great show of stars at night. Would be great for small groups 4-5 camps/ vans wanting to camp together with large communal fire out in the centre of the camp area. Look out for the resident magpie as he liked to swoop even sitting having your morning coffee. Friendly attentive host with delicious fresh eggs!

Our hosts were welcoming and guided us to campsite and gave advice for where to eat in town. Behind us were a couple of beautiful horses, to the left some curious cows and in front an amazing sunset. Simple and relaxing camping and bonus to have a rustic and clean flushing toilet on site.

We absolutely loved our stay! There is so much on offer at this beautiful property, the creek with Platypus, golf, walks and 4x4 tracks close by. We were lucky enough to be there when they were trialing Night Golf which was a real bonus and something they will be offering in the future and I totally recommend it, so much fun! Dean and Genelle are such awesome hosts who genuinely love sharing their gorgeous piece of paradise, we will definitely return and recommend this Hipcamp to other travelers.

Great open space with plenty of room for a drive thru site or large group with a big fire pit and amazing sunsets. Plenty to see around the area with the Bunya mountains up the road 20 minutes and the The Bun hotel five minutes away for a good feed and a cold beer with great service. Gav and Andria were very helpful on arrival and left us to enjoy our stay.

Thanks Gav and Andria for welcoming us onto your property. We had an awesome 5 nights camping off-grid at ‘The Pines’. The fire pit was a huge hit! The sunsets were unreal and to top it off the clear starry nights were mindblowing 🤩 We visited the local pub, ‘The Bun’ for lunch and a cold beer. Loved our couple of nights here. Beautiful, quiet and private property. Gav was super welcoming and helpful. Very close to scenic drives through Bunya National park and quaint country towns (Maidenwell pub a must visit)
