Amazing stay!! Great communication and listing is just as described plus some! We plan to stay again next time there’s a concert at Pappys, but this is a fun, quiet, simple, and relaxing spot even if there wasn’t a concert you wanted to go to! 10/10 recommend!

We loved the camper. It was very cute and super cozy. The hammocks were lovely. The stars were amazing. The bed was comfy. It was an easy walk to Pappy’s and the hosts even left a head lamp on a hook by the door for the dark walk back. We would absolutely come back and stay again.

Whilst the camper was super cool for our one nights stop, it felt like a lot could’ve been improved. We’ve stayed at many hip camps on our trip and we really noticed lack of attention to detail here. Soft furnishings were ripped and tatty. There was a constant questionable smell of gas in the camper until we turned off at the mains. Lack of internet or a manual meant we couldn’t check what we needed to do to get things to work and felt like we were intruding the main house. It was a great place close to Pioneertown and for the money it was OK but just only for a short stop.

Desert skies do not lie, and this lovely little camper provided us a cozy little getaway under the moon and stars.
Came out for a friend’s birthday in Pioneertown and literally could have walked to the party at Red Dog. That’s how close this place is. It was our first time using Hipcamp, so we were impressed by how easy it was to book and find this property.
Besides the beautiful surrounding landscape, the ranch was quite lovely as well. Being greeted by the local burro and goats was a real treat, as well as the local quail too.
The camper was super comfy and had all kinds of cool vintage decor. It’s tight quarters, but we’ve gone camping in something similar previously so we were use to it and slept comfortably.
Also: hammocks. Nothing beats taking in the desert sky while sipping an ice cold mai tai in a hammock. Did I mention there are hammocks? Haha.
Highly recommended, and would love to come back and stay for more than one night.

Quaint decorated trailer with relaxation and peacefulness in mind. Loved the nearby animals for the daughter to visit.

We absolutely enjoyed this cute camper! The hosts were responsive and even offered another blanket to us the 2nd day, as it was cooooold at night. The heater doesn't really get the space all that warm, but we enjoyed hanging out next to it. The hot shower only lasts a few minutes, at most. So be prepared for that! The bed was cozy, as was the whole place, inside and out. If we were there longer, we could have enjoyed more of the outdoor space. Pappy's was excellent for food, ambience and a concert. Trail running is nearby. Arriving at night was a minor challenge, as we couldn't see the entrance and didn't have cell reception to call. Make sure you turn into the property at the first gate, just prior to the entrance to the home on the property. We were able to make a call from Pappy's to sort it out. We'd definitely stay here again.
