Starvation Campground
Description
Starvation Campground got its name from the cold hard fact that this land was, straight up, a land of starvation. Homesteaders in the 1800s attempted to settle along the banks of the river and nearly didn’t make it. Now, campers and anglers flood in to ride off road, engage in fishing tournaments, and hike the 3,500 scenic acres of coves, beaches and blue waters. Let’s get a round of applause for the adventures who literally paved the way for us!
