Dark Sky District Terlingua Ghostown. The campsites are located below the cliffs and out of the wind. The road twists and turns to move with the deserts natural rhythms which naturally provides privacy from other sites. We do have 2 larger group sites. That can fit 3 tents or more each plus tables, chairs, Fires, 2-3 vehicles Also there are 2 sites with full-hookups for Jeep's, caravans etc.

If
If you don’t mind being next to a highway, or having a picnic table, or being attacked by plants then it’s great. Location close to North Bend and had great showers. The tent campsites just need a bit more development.

Close but so far out
Great spot, close enough to Big Bend but still felt private in peak season. Seculuded amenities are a short drive away. Great view of mountains in the distance. Loved it.

Site was roadside, but didn't feel like it if you were up near the bathrooms. heated bathrooms with showers was an unexpected, nice surprise. hosts were very nice. would definitely stay here again. pro tip: text the hosts for the bathroom code, so you can actually use it.

We loved our campsite here, good views in the morning and plenty of space, wasn’t too far from big bend and was easy to find.

Quick and easy camp spot
Camping at Los Gringos was nice and easy. The host was helpful when we were trying to find the location. It is sort of a free for all, first come first serve camp spot, where you're not assigned a number. The bathroom was clean and heated. It included a shower and toilet, with toilet paper and soap. There is enough parking for everyone and it is relatively quiet as well.
