Muskingum River Campground

Make the campground your base and venture off to explore all day or boat camp down the river and pitch tent as you go. At Muskingum River State Park you’ve got options! The small campground has a few sites right on the riverbank for your listening and viewing pleasure. If you rather take the adventurous route, hop in your boat or canoe and paddle/motor to one of the primitive campsites along the river. Before your stay is over, make sure to experience one of the 10 locks along the river. This dam system is recognized as one of America’s great engineering accomplishments.
