Elk Lake Campground and Picnic Area
Description
A rad place to unplug, Elk Lake Campground is beautifully situated within the beguiling backdrops of Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest. And, much like the other campgrounds in the area, you’ll want to pack appropriately for the minimal amenities—there's no cell service nor drinking water available, but there's also no fee to stay! A tent-only area equipped with fire rings and picnic tables, toilets and a boat launch, Elk Lake is one of them there spots where you'll need to come prepped to pack-in and -out in true outdoors(wo)men fashion.
