Back in 2008 we retired from Florida, Had a contract on our house there and had bought this acreage a few years before. It was only a field no buildings or fencing and had once been owned by the Wesson family. So we moved out here and lived in our horse trailer while we built the barn and fenced and so many other things. But our plans for a house changed when the banks started to go under just before our buyers closed and the bank refused to close the loan. The sale of the house was to be our money for a new house. Instead we converted the second floor of the barn into an apartment and lived there for 10 years.
