Legion Campground

Very nice park -- we got there late and used the honor box. We followed the signs around to the primitive camping area - the dirt road will lead you to a turn around/larger camping area. Burn ban was in effect, but there was a fire ring at our spot and a ton of fire wood. There were also grills and picnic tables at other spots. There is a nice trail around the lake but more signs to tell you where to find things would be nice. There are bathrooms and a beautiful old lodge on the other side of the primitive camping sites. Unfortunately, the lodge was hosting a Halloween party the night we camped and they were pretty loud until around 10 or 11 pm. Overall it was nice and only a few hours from Jackson.
