South Fork Salmon River Campground
Description
If you’ve got your fishing tackle ready, head to The South Fork Salmon River for some of the best fishing in Idaho. The river offers abundant opportunities for catching salmon, steelhead, whitefish, bull trout and cutthroat trout. Beyond the catch, camping at the river campground offers a bit more solitude than the neighboring Warm Lake campground, though traffic from Warm Lake Road can damper the peace and quiet a bit. Many campers stay out of the buzz, at Salmon River, and take the short trek to Warm Lake when its time for swimming or boating.
