Black Rock Campground
Description
Get a lesson in wildlife immersion at Black Rock Campground. You won’t find much privacy from other campers, but you’ll also be stationed in the midst of a hotspot for flora and fauna; a great trade-off if you enjoy people watching and bird watching in equal measure. This patch of the Boise National Forest, right along the banks of the North Fork Boise River, has trails that weave through miles of towering ponderosa pine forest. Shake up your camping trip by swapping out your hiking boots for a mountain bike, dirt bike, or even a horse!
