War Creek Campground

Whenever you’re ready, we’ll tell you why we’re in love with War Creek Campground. Ready? Well, first, this two-section area is in the forest (hello, hammocks). The main part spreads right along War Creek and near the Twisp River, so those soothing sounds of water will lull you to sleep while you camp--whether you’re in a tent or in your RV. Dreamy! Whichever section you end up in, you’ll be delighted to find a bit of privacy, a personal picnic table and fire ring, some cool shade thanks to Douglas firs, and trailheads closeby. Double dreamy! Heads up that the vault toilets provided are wheelchair accessible, and drinking water can be fetched from the on-site hand pump in the summer.
