We’ve had this property in my family for over 30 years and it is been a potato farm, a cattle ranch, and a Lumber-mill site. We built our cabin from scratch from 47 tamarack large trees on our property. This is a very rustic and remote log cabin situated on 120 acres that is adjacent to DNR state land. It is primarily forested and teaming with wildlife. The cabin is about 4000 feet in elevation on Lemonasky Mountain just 1 mile below and an historical fire look-out. It is perched on top of a beautiful large meadow with a 50 mile view that has wonderful sunrises and sunsets. This is a very rustic and remote log cabin situated on 120 acres that is adjacent to DNR state land. The cabin is perched on top of a beautiful large meadow with a 50 mile view. This was our 3rd time at this cabin and we had over 3ft of snow and it was amazing. Roads were plowed all the way to the cabin and the host cleared a spot for our car on their property. To get to the cabin we had to use snow shoes. The host is very responsive and friendly. It continues to be my fav hipcamp spot and I can’t wait to go back!! Thanks Joy <3

This is such a special place, so peaceful to just sit and watch the meadow, I never felt like I needed to do much more than be on that porch, watching cows and birds…. The bath is also incredible, to be in that hot tub under clouds and full moon and stars. My bird app Merlin said that the waves of migrating birds that flew over on our last night were Sandhill Cranes, pretty amazing sight and sound. Thank you Joy and David for sharing this peaceful spot…

What a wonderful cabin to spend the weekend at. Has every amenity you could hope for and more! We loved the amount of thought put into everything at this cabin. Don’t forget to read the guest book and see how special this place is . Will definitely be returning!

We loved this little cabin and stayed extra days just to soak it all in. We were planning our next trip before we ever left. The bathtub outside at sunset was a highlight. Cows grazing in fields in front, so many types of birds flying around, and warm summer breezes that keep you sitting on the front porch for hours. No service for TMobile and it was so nice to get away. Highly recommend and we can't wait to go back!

Meadow Cabin was wonderful. Great views, quiet, and restorative. Loved watching and listening to the cows around the meadow. Cabin had everything we needed. Hosts were great and instructions were clear. Would love to come back when colder weather comes in!
