Peace farm
in Peacefarmrescue, MassachusettsA nice location.
I really enjoyed my stay. Ric is very friendly and clearly loves to share his bucolic setting. It may not be for everyone, though. There are a lot of goats, chickens, dogs, roosters, ducks, etc. and when I arrived, they were making quite a racket. I was concerned about the noise level, but they quieted down by evening and it wasn't a problem. The Hawley trail system is just down the road and is a great place to hike. I stayed in my van, but you can choose to stay in a small, rustic old mining cabin or in a tent that's on the property.
